Project management
●Project management is the discipline of planning,
organization, motivation, and control of resources in order
to achieve one or more objectives.
Project management
●Guide to project management fundamentals
●Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge
●PMBOK
Project management
●The PMBOK Guide was initially published by the National
Institute of Standards in 1996. That document was based
on a work published in 1983 under the title "Final Report of
the Ethics, Standards and Accreditation Committee".
●It is under the supervision of the Project Management
Institute
Process grouping
●The 5 groups in which the PMBOK Guide classifies the
processes are:
● Initialization
● Planning
● Execution
● Monitoring and control
● Closing
Areas of knowledge

Definitions
●Plagiarism: Copy in the substantial works of others, giving them as
their own.
●Compose: From lat. redactum, supine of redigĕre 'compile', 'put in
order'.1. tr. Put in writing something happened, agreed or thought
beforehand.
●Project: 2. m. Plant and disposition that is formed for the realization
of a treaty, or for the execution of something of importance.4. m. Set
of writings, calculations and drawings that are made to give an idea
of how it should be and what it will cost a work of architecture or
engineering. 5m. First scheme or plan of any work that is sometimes
done as a test before giving it the final form.

●Do not fall into Argumentative Fallacies
Argumentative fallacies
●Direct personal attack (Ad Hominem-Offensive)
●Appeal to ignorance (ad ignorantiam)
●To the consensus (ad populum)
●Appeal to mercy (ad misericordiam)
●Appeal to fear (ad baculum)
●False cause (Non cause pro cause)
Argumentative fallacies
●Petition of principles (Petitio principi -tautology- circularity)
●Contradictory premise (Ignorantio elenchi)
●Ambiguity (Amphibology)

Logic
●Design and Innovation of Electroacoustic
Systems
●Class 3
25
Definition
●Mathematical Logic is the discipline that
deals with methods of reasoning.
●At an elementary level, the logic
propositional rules and techniques to
determine whether or not a given
argument is valid.
26
Logical operators
●They are symbols that allow to relate one or
more propositions.
●The connective ones are: the negation ,
the conjunction disjunction conditional and
biconditional .
●Conjuntion = and
●Disjunction = or
●Conditional = implies, if...then (refuses like: p and not q)
●Biconditional = If and only if (refuses with exclusive disjunction)

Project elaboration guideline
Abstract and/or summary
●Abstract is the summary of the most important
part of your project, it is written in the third
person and in the past
●It has start, execution and end
●The conclusions are put without going into
detail
●It is in Spanish (native thonge) and English
Objetives
General: normally it is one, it is the purpose with which the project
is carried out.
Specific: are the subprojects that can be made to generate the
general objective, see also as project portfolio.
Technicals: corresponds to the technical requirements that are
needed or skills that must be acquired to carry out the project.
Theoretical framework
●Corresponds to the conceptual reference to be
used, whether historical background, theorems,
laws (scientific) and definitions (if these are
many in the opinion of the drafters of the
project, it is better to make a glossary)
Development
●It is the most important part of the project, here
it is described how the results were obtained,
the materials to be used, plans, calculations,
photographs, this must start with a topic
sentence, it is written in the present time and
third person.
Conclusion and/or Conjectures
●Write the results of your project, describe
whether or not your objectives and / or
hypotheses were met
●Remember that if your objective or hypothesis
is not met, your results are also valid, but this
must be justified
Schedule and Budget
●The schedule is what is delayed in implementing
the project, example:
●
●The budget is how much materials and labor cost

Effect controllers for audio
MIDI
●Musical Instrument Digital Interface
●Appeared in the year 1982
●Transmission protocol
●Successor of the CV among others
How does it work?
●Send 0 and 1
●Encoder / decoder
Controller
●Device that allows to sequence effects
and/or sound
●Can be used to control analog or digital
pedals (on/off alone or in groups)
●It can be totally digital (software)
How to make one?
●Arduino+tensi project board
Effects drivers without midi
●There are drivers that work only as a
switch
●Designed for other devices
●Amplifiers and pedalboards among others
How are they made?
●Push buttons and cables
How are they made?
●Potentiometer (Expression Pedal)
How are they made?
●An on / off matrix
●Reusing other chip (numeric keyboard for
guitar rig)
●Programming in Arduino
●Fully digital (web interface, ex. HTML)
