INTRODUCTION
Nature is such that if polymeric exercises are performed with maximum effort, the muscle can increase the opinion
of many exercise physiologists, neural adaptations - the explosive power that affects muscles in 2 to 4 weeks you
first start training occurs. polymeric and weight training 3 times a week will run only when sufficient recovery time
between training sessions exist. This form is a standard practice by athletes can be like looking for a tall bird
bowler’s disk [1]. Mechanical adjustment and neuropsychological performance two ply metric exercises influence
[2]. Fast performance and muscle strength in non-athletes at dam lower payments. In this study, 45 patients in three
groups: strength training plies metric exercises and randomly assigned to the control group. Ply metric and strength
training program will run for 6 weeks. Jlvran by IRM muscle strength by 36 meters and test muscle strength was
measured by vertical jump. Results showed a significant different between polymeric and strength in muscular
power and speed, there is not significant, but the difference in muscle strength. Arazi, (2011) the effects of
polymeric training on land and in water, power, speed and balance in young basketball players investigated. Results
showed no significant differences between groups in water and land polymeric training on any of the variables does
not exist [3]. Sportis (2010) the effect of 3 weeks of plyometric training on running, jumping and agility in
Jamaica’s national netball review. The results showed that after 3 weeks of plyometric jump scores Sargent, jump
page jump and agility were significantly improved [4]. Andrzhyk (2012) in their study compared the effects of two
types of short-term strength training and plyometric combination of power and ready to run in the teen’s basketball
payment. The results of this study indicate that this is a short-term plyometric and resistance training program for
teenage basketball player improves motor function [1] .Asadi (2012) in their study to determine the effects of 8 -
week plyometric training program on physical capacity, especially payment. The results showed that all variables
were significantly improved after 8 weeks of plyometric training [2]. Rafiee (2010) the effect of 7 -week plyometric

Results showed that the biceps femoris electrical changes in all groups were not significant. While the twin rectus
femoris muscle electrical changes were significant [5]. Asadi (2012) Effect of water and land plyometric training on
strength, speed and balance in young basketball players investigated. Results showed no significant differences
between groups in any of the variables plyometric land and in the water there. Significant increase in both the
proportion of pre-test and post-test speed plyometric both on land and in water was observed. The test results
showed that the plyometric group Bvskv, Sargent , jump and sprint 35 meters barrier hexagonal one repetition
maximum test performance was better in the combination group were better [3]. So according to different studies
and the results are reported and the lack of research on this topic remains basketball is discussed.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
The research was quasi-experimental study sample basketball province formed between the age ranges of 30-24
years. And all physical health conditions had a 4-year history of the sport. Among them, 30 were selected and
randomly assigned to experimental and control groups gathered data: questionnaires, medical scales Stadiometer,

CONCLUSION
We Polyomeric dissertation research exercise was designed in such a way that was consistent types of exercises at
different levels. This practice was devoted only to the lower extremities, leading to a strengthening of the quadriceps
muscles, hamstrings and twin vertical jump are involved in the implementation, it was. Recently had diversity
training and thus both meeting a few new motion gestures were added and some removed .further , employing
selective motor units in the muscle , increasing the level of coordination, muscle co- contraction of auxiliary
introverted and eccentric contraction phase speed and muscle strength is increased . So it can be expected that the
exercise Plyomtryc 6 weeks, 3 times a week will result in a significant increase in explosive power athletes. The
results of this study are in agreement with the findings of some researchers. But the results Vakzy (2013), based on
plyometric effect on anaerobic inconsistent. Possible reasons for this discrepancy in results may differ in duration
and intensity plyometric - type exercises, participants are and how to assess anaerobic power. Training program for
6 weeks, but in the present study was to investigate Vakzy 3 weeks [6]. In addition, the study subjects were
basketball players were the subjects in the study Vakzy .Has the overall results of the study emphasize that doing
plyometric training followed by a period of 6 weeks, 3 days a week and has a significant impact on the explosive
power of basketball

The ultimate performance in every sport, including basketball, is the result of a series of “bricks” stacked in the correct order. One of the dice is definitely an explosive power that is defined as the ability to manifest the maximum power for the maximum short time. The aim of this study was to gather previous studies that dealt with the development of the explosive strength in basketball. Total amount of 49 studies published between 2001 and 2016 was collected and subjected to analysis. The results showed that, for the development of the explosive strength, the plyometric training method is usually used, both with male and female basketball players. Also, the explosive force can be developed by using the complex training; the aquatic plyometric training; a combination of plyometric training and some other kind of training (dynamic stretching, strengthening without weights, sprinting, weight training, training of strength (no lifting)); specific sprint training; SAQ training; skipping rope; training consisting of strength training, different types of stamina and basketball technique; circuit breaker program; circuit training; combination of the sprint training exercises with weights; the plyometric training with additional load and the training of dynamic stretching.

... Despite the large quantity of data, the problem with most PT studies recruiting basketball players is that periods with different length and/or different or unknown seasonal periods were examined. For example, Ramanchandran and Pradhan (35) demonstrated favorable effects of PT performed for 2 weeks in contrast with Shallaby's (39) 12-week program, or studies were conducted in pre-season (3,14,26), in-season (27,36), or in unspecified periods (2,30,35,37,38,39,45). Moreover, these authors failed to report basketball-specific training exercises (including loads and intensities) performed by players in addition to the investigated PT program, which limits results and interpretation. ...
... Finally, it is important to mention that although numerous researchers found that PT improves several functional skills in basketball players, the results have never been explained with respect to the actual preparation season in which PT was performed, or with the training variables (load, intensity, and duration) applied in the basketball practices (2,7,17,30,35,37,38,39,46). It is highly recommended that in future studies scientists provide detailed basketball-specific preparation and game programs, besides the experimental PT protocols for better understanding of the mechanisms of adaptation. ...

In this study, we tested the hypothesis that, during the regular in-seasonal basketball training, an additional 7-week plyometric training program improves lower extremity strength, balance, agility, and jump performance in adolescent female basketball players. Eighteen female basketball players less than 17 years of age were randomly assigned into an experimental group (plyometric training) and a control group. Both groups underwent the same basketball training program. Pre- and post-training test periods included quadriceps and hamstring strength, balance, jump performance, and agility measurements. Illinois agility test time (p = 0.000) and quadriceps strength (p = 0.035) increased uniformly in the two groups. Significant group by test period interaction was found for countermovement jump (p = 0.007), and countermovement height reduced significantly in the plyometric training group (p = 0.012), while it remained unchanged in controls. No significant change was found for T agility test, balance, hamstring strength or H:Q ratio. This study shows that the training program used in-season did not improve the measured variables, except for knee extensor strength. It is possible that regular basketball trainings and games combined with high-volume plyometric training did not show positive functional effects because of the fatigue caused by incomplete recovery between sessions.

(The study was conducted in order to determine the impact of explosive leg strength of vertical type (vertical jumping ability) on agility in 15 players of BC Konstantin in Nis, of age from 18 to 30, who compete in the Basketball League of Serbia. To estimate vertical jumping ability Abalakov jump, Countermovement jump and Squat jump were used, while agility was tested by Agility T test, Hexagon Agility Test and Illinois Agility Test. To determine the parameters of explosive leg strength of vertical type "Myotest"-Myotest Performance Measuring System and Tensiometer contact platform were used, while tests of agility were measured by stopwatch. As for statistical analysis for processing the obtained data, canonical correlation and regression analysis were used. The results showed a statistically significant correlation between explosive leg strength of vertical type and agility in elite basketball players.)
... However, with the development of basketball and the increase in the requirements of competitions, training has begun to focus more on the development of physical predispositions (Trunić, 2007). Thus more recently, agility training and explosive power training have both become a special focus of study of numerous researchers (Jamurtas et al., 2000;Kremer & Gomez, 2010;Asadi & Arazi, 2012;Zhang, 2013;Lehnert, Hůlka, Malý, Fohler & Zahálka, 2014;Morsal et al., 2014;Nikolić, 2016;Stojanović, et al., 2018). Agility is an ability which is of special importance for players in all positions on a team. ...

Basketball is a sports game which consists of rapid changes in direction of movement, sudden stopping and starting for driving and dribbling and a great number of jumps. The various positions on a basketball team precisely determine the requirements for specific forms of movement, even though contemporary basketball strives for all players in all positions to possess the aforementioned abilities. A sample of 15 male basketball players, divided into three groups of five players each, based on their positions on the team, including the guard, forward and center position, was used to determine differences in agility (Agility T Test, Hexagon Agility Тest, Illinois Agility Test и Lane Agility Drill) and explosive power (the Squat jump, Countermovement Jump, Drop Jump and One-legged Counter Movement Jump). To determine the differences between the basketball players in relation to their positions on the team, the ANOVA analysis for independent samples was used as was a post-hoc analysis. The research results have indicated that there is a difference between the guard position compared to the forward and center position.

Plyometric basketball training represents a widely used training method whose purpose is to resist the gravity force, meaning jump height improvement, better start acceleration, short section sprint, and direction change movement. The aim of this work was to analyze former plyometric basketball training researches, as well as to consolidate conclusions relevant to established work object analysis. This work covers 22 surveys published during a period from 2008 till 2018, which are shown in a chronological order and analyzed thoroughly. Obtained results suggest that fully planned and performed plyometric training within a defined time period has statistically significant positive effects on basketball explosive capacities development.

The purpose of this investigation was to compare the effects of six weeks of depth jump and countermovement jump training on agility performance. Eighteen male collegiate students participated in the present study and were randomly assigned to two groups: depth jump (DJ) and countermovement jump (CMJ). Subjects in the DJ and CMJ groups performed 5 sets of 20 repetition jumps from an 18-inch box at two days a week for six weeks. The Illinois agility test and T test were measured a week pre and post six weeks of training. A 2×2 analyses of variance was used for the statistical analyses. Both groups indicated significant improvement than pre training in Illinois agility test and T test (P<0.05); likewise, there were no significant differences between the DJ and CMJ training on agility performance after 6 weeks of training (P>0.05). In conclusion, the DJ and CMJ training improved agility performance, and it can be recommended that, coaches and athletes design these types of plyometric training for improving the ability of acceleration, deceleration and agility movements.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of a short-term in-season plyometric training program on power, agility and knee extensor strength. Male soccer players from a third league team were assigned into an experimental and a control group. The experimental group, beside its regular soccer training sessions, performed a periodized plyometric training program for six weeks. The program included two training sessions per week, and maximal intensity unilateral and bilateral plyometric exercises (total of 40 - 100 foot contacts/session) were executed. Controls participated only in the same soccer training routine, and did not perform plyometrics. Depth vertical jump height, agility (Illinois Agility Test, T Agility Test) and maximal voluntary isometric torque in knee extensors using Multicont II dynamometer were evaluated before and after the experiment. In the experimental group small but significant improvements were found in both agility tests, while depth jump height and isometric torque increments were greater. The control group did not improve in any of the measures. Results of the study indicate that plyometric training consisting of high impact unilateral and bilateral exercises induced remarkable improvements in lower extremity power and maximal knee extensor strength, and smaller improvements in soccer-specific agility. Therefore, it is concluded that short-term plyometric training should be incorporated in the in-season preparation of lower level players to improve specific performance in soccer.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of agility training (training of acceleration, deceleration and quick change of the direction of movement) on athletic power performance. Eighty healthy male college students (age 19±1.1 years; body mass 77.2±7.1 kg; body height 180.1±7.1 cm; body fat percentage 10.8±1.6) participated in this study. The study was a randomized controlled trial. The subjects were assigned randomly to an experimental group (EG; n=40) and control group (CG; n=40). Statistically significant differences were determined within the experimental group both in the initial and in the final measurement (p<.05), whereas significant differences were found between the experimental and the control group in the final measurement (p<.05). Changes in muscle power were assessed through the jumping height in a counter--movement jump (CMJ). The experimental group significantly (p<.05) improved in the jumping height in CMJ (43.17 vs 44.01 cm), counter-movement jump from the left leg (CMJ1L) (29.66 vs 30.12 cm) and counter--movement jump from the right leg (CMJ1R) (28.77 vs 29.11 cm). The values achieved by the subjects from the experimental group ranged from low values for the standing long jump (SLJ), to moderate values for the counter-movement jump (CMJ), to high values for the 5m sprint (SP5). To enhance explosive muscle power and dynamic athletic performance, complex agility training can be used. Therefore, in addition to the well known training methods such as resistance training and plyometric training, strength and conditioning professionals may efficiently incorporate agility training into an overall conditioning programme of athletes striving to achieve a high level of explosive leg power and dynamic athletic performance.

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of eight weeks of aquatic and land plyometric training on leg muscle strength, 36.5 and 60 meters sprint times, and dynamic balance test in young male basketball players. Eighteen young male basketball players (age=18.81±1.46 years, height=179.34±6.11 cm, body mass=67.80±9.52 kg, sport experience=4.8±2.47 years) volunteered in this study and divided to three groups; aquatic plyometric training (APT), land plyometric training (LPT) and control group (CON). Experimental groups trained; ankle jumps, speed marching, squat jumps, and skipping drills for eight weeks and 3 times a week for 40 min. The data were analyzed by one way analysis of variance with repeated measures, a Tukey post hoc testing and independent-sample t-test. The results showed there were not any significant differences between the APT and LPT groups in any of the variables tested (P>0.05). Significant increases were observed in posttraining both APT and LPT groups in 36.5-m and 60-m sprint times record compare to pretraining (P<0.05). There was a significant difference in relative improvement between the APT and CON in 36.5-m, 60-m, and one repetition maximum leg press (P<0.05). We conclude that plyometric training in water can be an effective technique to improve sprint and strength in young athletes.
