Abstract

Resumo. Os ambientes de aprendizagem presenciais e virtuais desenvolveram-se separadamente, mas nos últimos anos essas duas modalidades de ensino vêm se complementando, o que gerou como resultado os cursos híbridos ou Blended Learning. Esta foi uma pesquisa explicativa de cunho quantitativo e apresenta um estudo de caso sobre o uso do sistema Blended Learning na disciplina Administração de Produção e Logística, do curso de bacharelado em Sistemas de Informação, do Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo, apoiado em um Ambiente Virtual de Aprendizagem. O objetivo do artigo foi apresentar uma revisão sobre o tema e discutir, a partir do referencial teórico, uma experiência prática sobre os benefícios obtidos com esta abordagem e os resultados da avaliação dos alunos sobre a proposta de uso do Blended Learning. Os resultados apontaram para a motivação dos alunos quanto ao uso deste tipo de abordagem, que se apresenta como uma tendência ao ensino presencial, tornando o aluno um sujeito ativo no processo de ensino e aprendizagem.


Abstract. Presenal and virtual learning environments have developed separately, but in recent years these two modes
of teaching have been complemented each other, which resulted in hybrid or Blended Learning Courses. This was a
quantave explanatory research and presents a case study on the use of the Blended Learning system in the discipline
of Producon and Logiscs Administraon of the bachelor's degree in Informaon Systems, Federal Instute of Espírito
Santo, supported by a Virtual Environment of learning. The objecve of the arcle was to present a review on the subject
and to discuss, from the theorecal framework, a praccal experience on the bene+ts obtained with this approach and
the results of the students’ evaluaon about the proposed use of Blended Learning. The results pointed to the movaon
of the students regarding the use of this type of approach, which presents itself as a tendency to face-to-face teaching,
making the student an acve subject in the teaching and learning process.
