Abstract. Presenal and virtual learning environments have developed separately, but in recent years these two modes
of teaching have been complemented each other, which resulted in hybrid or Blended Learning Courses. This was a
quantave explanatory research and presents a case study on the use of the Blended Learning system in the discipline
of Producon and Logiscs Administraon of the bachelor's degree in Informaon Systems, Federal Instute of Espírito
Santo, supported by a Virtual Environment of learning. The objecve of the arcle was to present a review on the subject
and to discuss, from the theorecal framework, a praccal experience on the bene+ts obtained with this approach and
the results of the students’ evaluaon about the proposed use of Blended Learning. The results pointed to the movaon
of the students regarding the use of this type of approach, which presents itself as a tendency to face-to-face teaching,
making the student an acve subject in the teaching and learning process.
