The excel spreadsheet evaluates parameters of the Lumped Parameter Model presented in the paper. The model can be implemented in commercial software to perform linear or nonlinear dynamic analyses of structures founded on piles, taking into account the frequency‐dependent coupled roto‐translational, vertical, and torsional behaviour of the soil‐foundation system.
The LPMs parameters are evaluated by the closed‐form formulas proposed by Carbonari et al. 2018 with reference to pile groups with square layout and different number of piles embedded in homogeneous soil deposits characterised by different stiffness.
