Obviously not an ordinary book. This is the first volume. There should be four volumes. Theoretical and methodological issues of processing data sets for anthrax are considered. As a basis, take the case of Russian Empire. It has a lot of fresh and valuable information. The book is written from the standpoint of infectious ecology. Is it possible to do something new on a topic that has been researched for over 150 years? The answer to the question depends on the results achieved in the study. Are you satisfied with the existing results? Do you think that there is no way to advance? Have you understood the reasons for a natural phenomenon and transferred this knowledge into the field of not so much science as education? No, no and one more time no. The current level of knowledge for the reasons of the manifestation of the pathogenic properties of Bacillus anthracis categorically cannot be considered satisfactory. There have never been any reasonable explanations. According to T. Kuhn's concept, the paradigm can exist for an infinite time. Until the scientific community tolerates the replication of works only on the basis of this paradigm and until a developed alternative appears. Then the knowledge system changes drastically. The cycle of research by Professor Dmitry Nikolaenko related to anthrax was carried out on the basis of fundamentally new theoretical and methodological positions. At the base of S-Theory and infectious ecology as a new scientific direction. The second edition of the first volume of "Anthrax in the Russian Empire" can be viewed as a kind of intermediate result of efforts. The work was started a little over ten years ago. Much needs to be done to introduce into circulation new information accumulated on anthrax in the Russian Empire. According to S-Theory, we are dealing with a natural minefield. It contains the N number of parameters of pathogenicity of microorganisms. It is indefinitely large. We do not know how many of these parameters are. The reasons for ignorance are not only epistemological. We are dealing with a dynamic object that is discrete in nature. It may appear a novelty. Physico-chemical signals are the basis for the manifestation of pathogenicity of microorganisms. The anthropogenic factor plays an important role in the manifestation of the pathogenicity of microorganisms. The theory allows conducting microgeographic studies of the manifestation of pathogenicity. Accuracy up to 2-3 meters. The next step is research at the nanocartography level. Accuracy of work with natural environments of the pathogen up to 1 centimeter. It is possible to use a reversible mapping scale (1: 0.00..N centimeters). This will give correct knowledge regarding the transition of a microorganism to its pathogenic state.

Chapter of book: Nikolaenko D. Introduction to infectious ecology. Environmental Epidemiology, 2018, 12, 2-3, p. 3 - 629. Climate change leads to massive changes in the environment. The consequences might be of an infectious nature. The study of this topic requires new theoretical and methodological approaches. In book, the topic is examined from the standpoint of infectious ecology. This means that it is not only about the diseases of people and farm animals. The phenomenon of an infectious disease is considered in a broader natural context. Infectious disease warm-blooded is some indicator of more general natural processes only. In 2010 - 2017, much was done for the development of paleoepidemiology. The work was conducted primarily on an example of anthrax. Detailed documents on its manifestations in the Russian Empire were found. The substantiation of paleoepidemiology as a new scientific direction is given. It has its own goals, objectives and a specific methodology for research.
