Abstract

From the eighties we have heard of talk of the methodology based on problem solving pushed by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). In this century we add to this methdology the incessant intentions of the use of new technology. However, as always occurs, the intentions and the practice are far removed due to the difficulties that teachers and researchers find at the time of incorporating all these methodologies to their daily classes. We hit the how? Initially escaping new technologies and trying not to forget the methodology of problem solving. This article tries to show how to carry out a boosting of geometrical contents and starting with doubling paper an interesting aspect and that is also being taken into account by a group of professionals in the area of Mathematics.
