All functions within the company, regardless of its size and activity, meet with an extremely dynamic economy and an environment in which they perform many day-to-day activities. In that sense, procurement is no different. It no longer serves only the purpose of ordering goods or services at the request of production at the lowest possible prices. Today's modern procurement systems offer solutions, improvements and thoughts on all aspects of business operations in which they are involved. There is a special emphasis on the dynamic resolution of challenging situations, which lies in unpredictable circumstances and crisis. The procurement department always works closely with other functions that directly affect production, and this is where extremely dynamic, high-quality and timely communication is expected. Communication with functions within the company is followed by communication with partners, where procurement becomes a sort of link between production and suppliers. Members of the procurement team are in most cases representatives of their companies, and it is based on their communication skills, behaviour and decisions that the image of the company is created among partners. Quality and timely communication of procurement team members with partners can play a key role for the continuation of production in turbulent market situations. Managers must organize all procurement processes in a quality manner, as well as motivate, educate and reward members of the procurement department. With their comments, opinions, advice and experience, partners offer an additional perspective, solution and an alternative path in the further planning of steps which would help achieve all of company's objectives. Experienced management, especially in times of crisis, use all possible information to make quality decisions, but also learn from these situations in order to make all possible preparations in regular business operations to minimize the shock that a new crisis could cause. The theoretical part of the paper will present a description of the concept of procurement business, management and crisis management, business and crisis communication, creating partnerships, and maintaining the company's image. The empirical research, conducted through questionnaires which were filled in by employees from the procurement department in the Republic of Croatia, provides us with answers about the importance of partnerships, with a special emphasis on the current coronavirus pandemic. In conclusion, we have explained proposals for improving and maintaining partnerships in the procurement business during crisis, as well as in regular business situations.

The paper explores the key role of crisis communication in addressing the growing number of crisis situations in healthcare. It examines and analyze different forms of crises in healthcare, encompassing financial and ethical dimensions, emphasizing that the effective management of crisis communication is integral to overall crisis management and thus, helps preserve the reputation of the organization and sometimes ensures its survival, threatened by crises. The significance of preparedness and the timely identification of potential crises emphasizes the crucial responsibilities of communicators, particularly in the contemporary era marked by swift and efficient modern communication techniques and tools. The text highlights the imperative requirement for two-way symmetrical communication with the media and all stakeholders before and during a crisis. The conclusion is that successful crisis management depends on crisis planning, simulations, and comprehensive training across all crisis management processes, inclusively and with a specific emphasis on crisis communication.

This paper binds topics of crisis management and risk management that form inseparable components in the crisis process. The indoctroduction of the paper defines crisis and risks and their specific impact on activities in the organization. Following the introductionary part, next part defines the norm ISO 31000:2018 as well as ISO/IEC 31010:2019 risk assessment techniques. After that, the effects and importance of crisis management in three phases: pre-crisis. crisis and post-crisis are observed. Next section of the paper defines formation of a crisis plan and it's implementation in all three crisis phases using risk assessment techniques. Practical appliance of the theoretical aspect of the paper is presented on a crisis situation caused by a global pandemic of SARS-CoV-2 virus from the social, managerial and economic approach on the topic

The paper presents: a program for drawing rectangles in colors that can be applied in HTML5 with names, the Python programming language with which the program was created and explanations of the program's functions in code view. The program is presented in the code view and in the design view and allows users to: view colors and color names that can be used in web design in HTML5. Colors from HTML5 are drawn animated in Python by drawing colors in the shape of a rectangle. First one color is drawn and then another color and so on until the last defined color.

As interest in planning for emergencies and disasters burgeons, and educational and training programs proliferate, Principles of emergency planning and management is the first book to meet the need for a concise yet comprehensive and systematic primer on how to prepare for a disaster. Providing readers with a comprehensive, systematic, yet concise introduction to effective preparation for disasters, it provides a unified starting point encompassing the scattered and parochial literature in this nascent field of academic enquiry and practical endeavor. The book provides a general introduction to the methods, procedures, protocols and strategies of emergency planning, with emphasis on situations in industrialized countries and the local level of organization (i.e. cities, municipalities, metropolitan areas and small regions), though with ample reference to national and international levels. Rather than concentrating on the practices of any one country or state, the author focuses on general principles. Principles of emergency planning and management is designed to be a reference source and manual from which emergency managers can extract ideas, suggestions and pro-forma methodologies to help them design and implement emergency plans. A comprehensive all-hazards approach is adopted, with frequent reference to the most important individual hazards and the planning and management needs that they create. Twelve examples of actual emergency planning and management problems are analyzed in detail. Principles of emergency planning and management is written especially for the new generation of emergency planners and managers that is emerging as a result of intensified governmental interest in disaster preparedness. Many of them will occupy positions in government or other organizations that require emergency plans. The book will also be of value to students of disasters and hazards who have a practical interest in how disasters are planned for and managed, and to professional workers and trainees who will eventually have to participate in disaster plans. Principles of emergency planning and management is designed to be easily integrated with training courses in emergency preparedness.
