The present century has seen rapid changes not only in the ways business is done but also in the composition of the workforce that does the business. Long-lasting careers, lower entry ages, and rapid expansion of the employee pool have led to the creation of multigenerational workforces. Knowledge management in such organizations come with its own perks and challenges-mainly in terms of the willingness to share information, diversity of the knowledge pool, and differences in knowledge acquisition and dissemination styles. The present research provides an overview of the factors that
facilitate and hinder knowledge management in a multigenerational organization, and the possible steps to meet the challenges effectively.
