Páchateľ sexuálneho zneužívania detí medzi nami

Publikácia objasňuje rozdiel medzi zdravým a deviantným sexuálnym správaním, prináša prehľad druhov sexuálnych deviácií, teórií ich vývinu a spôsobov ich diagnostiky. Autorka odhaľuje najdôležitejšie fakty o páchateľoch sexuálneho zneužívania detí, vzorcoch ich správania a zákernosti ich manipulácie, vďaka ktorej unikajú odhaleniu. Následne sa čitateľovi približujú trestno-právne, terapeutické a kontrolné postupy voči páchateľom sexuálneho zneužívania. Na základe najnovších vedeckých poznatkov predstavených v prvej časti práce, druhá časť práce rozpracováva morálne, pastorálne a cirkevno-právne odpovede voči páchateľom sexuálneho zneužívania. Práca by mala byť užitočná predovšetkým všetkým pastoračne činným osobám, ďalším záujemcom o predmetnú problematiku, obetiam sexuálneho zneužívania, a samozrejme samotným páchateľom ako sprievodca pokáním. Práca sa môže vhodne uplatniť aj ako študijný materiál pre poslucháčov pastorálnej psychológie.

"Cheap grace is the mortal enemy of our church. Our struggle today is for costly grace." And with that sharp warning to his own church, which was engaged in bitter conflict with the official nazified state church, Dietrich Bonhoeffer began his book Discipleship (formerly entitled The Cost of Discipleship). Originally published in 1937, it soon became a classic exposition of what it means to follow Christ in a modern world beset by a dangerous and criminal government. At its center stands an interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount: what Jesus demanded of his followers-and how the life of discipleship is to be continued in all ages of the post- resurrection church. "Every call of Jesus is a call to death," Bonhoeffer wrote. His own life ended in martyrdom on April 9, 1945. Freshly translated from the German critical edition, Discipleship provides a more accurate rendering of the text and extensive aids and commentary to clarify the meaning, context, and reception of this work and its attempt to resist the Nazi ideology then infecting German Christian churches.
This first volume of the series "The Criminal Personality" describes in detail the thinking processes that give rise to criminal behavior. There is also a lengthy discussion of tactics that criminals use to achieve their objectives as well as a chapter about how criminals function at home, school, work, and in the community.
This book is designed to fill these gaps [in the literature on behavioral treatment of sexual offenders] by describing a multitude of techniques for treating the sexual offender in either an outpatient or an inpatient setting. It is not offered as an all-inclusive text for every approach in this area but should be regarded as a compendium of behavioral approaches in an overall treatment plan for the offender. Techniques will be described in sufficient detail so that the practitioner reading the account will be able to employ any specific technique in his or her own practice. He or she should also be able to choose, among a smorgasbord of possible techniques, those that particularly suit the patients' appetites and needs. This text will, therefore, be a modest endeavor, clinically based, to bring together a variety of techniques to help the practitioner treat patients face-to-face.
