Abstract

The external and internal environment's high turbulence in the education system and its entity's activity make the measures taken and development programs insufficiently productive, which reduces the education social impact and its economic productivity. The authors believe that the management of education development requires flexible adaptive mechanisms creation capable to preserve the system's functional in a varieties environment. The iteration allows solving this task, as a control function, consisting in regulatory mechanisms controllable connection in case of the criterion parameters deviations in functioning from established norms. The iteration possibilities in achieving the education target results at all levels are shown, which allows implementing the established mission projection of the higher education system. Iteration realization gives an understanding of the deviations nature, education risks identification, which allows timely adjustments in the development path. The paper is intended for researchers, heads of managerial educational structures.

Professional qualification of teachers is widely recognised instrumental for enhancing students' learning experiences and outcomes. Recently, the introduction of 4-year B.Ed Hons programme was introduced in Pakistan with the intention that it will help in preparing professionally qualified teachers who would not only demonstrate better classroom practices but also contribute to enhancing their students learning. This paper employed a secondary analysis of a nationwide dataset to compare students' performance who are taught by teachers with B.Ed (Hons), B.Ed, and no professional qualifications. Furthermore, this study also present descriptive comparison of classroom teaching practices of these three types of teachers. The sample comprised 15 teachers and 609 students of elementary grades (5, 6 and 8). The data comprised of students' learning outcomes in science and mathematics and their teachers' teaching practices that were gathered through valid and reliable achievement tests and 3-point classroom observation scale, respectively. The analysis was conducted at two levels: first, using descriptive mean comparison of classroom practices across three groups of teachers, separately for both subjects; and second, one-way ANOVA was used to compare the learning outcomes of students in science and mathematics who were taught by three types of teachers (B.Ed hons, B.Ed and no professional qualification). Results revealed that, regardless of subjects, students taught by teachers with B.Ed (Hons) qualification have performed significantly better than their counterparts taught by teachers with no professional qualification and B.Ed qualification. Despite certain limitations of the study, the findings have some implications for overall teacher management policies and practices in the country. This study provides valuable insights for future research exploring the interplay between teaching practices, teacher qualifications, and student learning outcomes on a broader scale.

This book is dedicated to modern approaches to mathematical modeling of reflexive processes in control. The authors consider reflexive games that describe the interaction of subjects (agents) making decisions based on an hierarchy of beliefs regarding (1) essential parameters (informational reflexion), (2) decision principles used by opponents (strategic reflexion), (3) beliefs about beliefs, and so on. Analyzing the behavior of phantom agents (existing in beliefs of other real or phantom agents) and the properties of informational and reflexive structures (reflecting the mutual awareness of real and phantom agents) enables suggesting informational and reflexive equilibria as solutions of corresponding games. The mentioned equilibria generalize a series of well-known equilibrium concepts in noncooperative games and models of collective behavior. The models of informational and strategic reflexion allow: - describing and studying the behavior of reflexing subjects; - investigating the relationship between payoffs gained by agents and their reflexion ranks; - posing and solving the problems of informational and reflexive control in organiza-tional, economic, social and other systems, in military applications, etc. (an interested reader would find in the book over 30 examples of possible applications in these fields); - describing uniformly many phenomena connected with reflexion, viz., implicit control, informational control via the mass media, reflexion in psychology, art works, etc. The present book is intended for experts in decision making and control of systems having interdisciplinary nature, as well as for undergraduates and postgraduates.

The study of the human mental state as a mental phenomenon supposes a study of different parts of representations in the state of consciousness. The emergence and consolidation of mental representations of states associated with the processing of internal sensations and impressions that in comparison with the content of an earlier experience form the mental structures associated with the current state. The aim of research is the study of the dynamics of mental states' representations of students in the experimental exposure. The experiment involved 30 people aged 18-19 years. Investigation of the stability-variability of mental representations was carried out as follows. First recorded baseline characteristics of mental states' representations: associative, evaluative and imaginative. Then students described the current state. Associative characteristics of mental representations before and after the relaxation session differ in sectoral and generative characteristics. Found the impact of the mobilizing effects on the imaginative characteristics of mental states representations: there is an increase of sensitivity to external influences, clarity, awareness of perception, memory improvement. Revealed leading regulatory function of meditation. After the meditation the intensity of evaluative characteristics of mental representations of states close to the average values. The significance of the results obtained is that there is a leading regulatory function of meditative techniques in changing of mental states.
