SUPPORTING PROJECTS
WirelessInfo, as one of the partners of the
Short supply chain knowledge and
innovation network project (SKIN) (
www.shortfoodchain.eu), has completed first
testing data from the Czech Republic - 18
farms that sell products from the farm yard or
have some added value – and asked other
partners to join.

PROJECT IDEA
The goal of solution was to use SPOI database - Smart
POI data set (http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi) for promoting
selling from the farm. The goal is to select relevant data
in SPOI database and add also additional information
from other available databases of primary producers
offering their product from the farm.
There was expectation of two different Apps:
Find your producer
Publish my information

INPUT DATA
A database was created in the form of an excel
spreadsheet where partners could add data –
farm name, coordinates, description, contacts,
products and other activities. The table for
filling in the data is at the following
address:

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14wNsA-NWfZydRj5ulFtfrbXPmlXvQDczXzl8p6vjeSY/edit?usp=sharing

USED SOFTWARE/TOOLS
Using principle of the SPOI (
http://sdi4apps.eu/spoi) a sample application
was created by West Bohemian University in
the form of a map where the data inserted into
a table is visualized on the map.

database.
They will be included into existing database and are
available as RDF data

NEW SOFTWARE/TOOL
New viewer was generated using previous
solution for SPOI
