We report the first record of Yucatan deer mouse, Peromyscus yucatanicus, in Guatemala. The Yucatan deer mouse was restricted to Yucatán Peninsula, where it is considered a common species in deciduous to semi-evergreen tropical forests, and secondary growth forests.
