Abstract

A preliminary discussion of the results being obtained in a national survey of classroom acoustics sponsored by the Educational Facilities Laboratories of the Ford Foundation. Included is information on some concepts in teaching methods and the apparent acoustical requirements imposed by new ideas in schoolroom design required by these new methods.
