Five Butterflies new to Sundarban Bangladesh Site: How many more left to be recorded?

Abstract

From 15 to 19th November 2016, we visited several sites of Sundarban Bangladesh Site and recorded 5 butterfly species under 3 families new to known checklist. Of the 5 species Euthalia lubentina lubentina and Neptis hylas varmona were found in Katka with 2 individuals of Euploea crameri nicevillei which is endemic to Sundarban and the only Critically Endangered butterfly species in Bangladesh. Curetis thetis was found in Harbaria, Oriens goloides and Cephrenes acalle oceanica in karamjal.
