Conclusion of recomandation:” The good results obtained in this study are important for clinical
practice, but we should use, in my opinion, geriatric assessment, and we have to select the
patients very carefully. Bevacizumab plus capecitabine could be used in elderly patients with
advanced colon cancer for whom geriatric assessment reveals a poor tolerance to
chemotherapy. In conclusion, this study is very useful for clinicians in their practice”.
