Interior design play an important role in raising the morale of the individual and the feeling of happiness within the home where the moving of the feeling met color and variations of shapes and decoration and lighting effects for the design elements within the vacuum, when compatible housing in design with the requirements of rights and needs within the different vacuums, and achieve harmony with the environment around him , as well as respect for the mentality of man with desires to achieve different, which differ from one individual to another and from group to another, as well as from child to man or woman for the sheikh, and so on
Therefore, it was necessary to enjoy the housing characteristics which take into account to raise the morale of the occupants and thereby help in maintaining their mental health and support the design of this dwelling on the basic phases are determined in the following
First Section: deals with environmental influences on mental health to find the relationship between housing and external influences to the surrounding environment, the housing, which shows its importance lies in its ability to provide for the protection of various environmental influences surrounding and thus achieve the safety of the person inside, and meet the needs of various human Within the home, that home is the design and technological characteristics that help in maintaining the mental health of humans.
- the external environment influences include everything that surrounds the human being is divided into: the psychology of social environment effects, and effects a living environment, and effects environment (natural environment, cultural environment) which are shown in the first chapter, "influences the external environment"
- and when you achieve humanitarian needs within the dwelling, taking into account the properties of the human body, including physical properties, environmental and their relationship to the external environment while guaranteeing the preservation of healthy human psychological inside his home. Which are shown in the second chapter "The needs of the human body "
- Housing and design elements of an effective influence on human health at home, this effect, which varies between the robbery and for worse. Which are shown in Chapter III, " Housing and mental illness "
Second Section: displays the functions of the house throughout history in both the internal environment and in some specific areas in the world. These functions may help in defining some designing considerations for designing a healthy house in the local environment, as the house has witnessed many ages until now. Besides the fact that the design varied from an age to another, also the designing and implementation characteristics have changed from an age to another.
- As for the traditional houses, man lived along with all the external surrounding effects. This included among many other things, the effects related to the earth’s crust, the atmosphere, and even those resulting from the living environment.
Hence, man could build that house that meets all his needs, and in which he practices all his activities. That house was characterized by its several spaces that had even, relations with the external spaces whose effect could be clearly seen on man’s health and the period he lived in.
Examples of houses that occurred in the local environment are the ancient Egyptian house, the Coptic, and the Islamic ones. Examples of houses that occurred in the international environment are the Greek and the Roman ones. All this is clarified in “Chapter I” titled “A Historical Study of the Traditional Houses”.
- Nowadays, the effects of the external environment have recently changed because of the work of man and that which may contradict with and negatively affect his health inside his own house. All this resulted in what is called the internal pollution, which disabled the modern house from doing its job. While its basic job or function is to achieve comfort, safety and stability for man. Thus, the house nowadays becomes unhealthy and unsafe for its inhabitant.
In addition, the functions of the house have changed as well. As man neglected what is needed for his health and his internal Environment in designing his house and considered it a mere machine that needs to fulfill his needs and requirements. Thus, he depended totally on some industrial products, apparatuses, and modern raw materials ignoring their devastating effect on his own health. This is shown in “Chapter II” titled “A Survey of Modern Houses”.
Third Section: reviews the "the foundation design and to achieve psychological comfort" the ability of housing to maintain the mental health of humans
- where support rights in the design of his home on the possibility of providing internal spaces meet its needs for the exercise of all its activities in accordance with their culture and way of life, the interest of comfort and security, it depends on the determination of the nature of the activity and requirements of space and tools 0 Each vacuum within the housing design considerations depend on the type of activity , There are many to include space for leisure activity and tools and their relationship to those in charge of the activity and the surrounding environment while investigating human safety and health which are shown in the first chapter, "Interior design and achieve the humanitarian needs"
- that the interest in the training of psychological man, and his relationship spaces interior of the house and the resulting behavior may affect or influenced by the surrounding environment and whether there were features of an individual belonging to the individual or the characteristics of a collective or cultural, the attention and taken into account that preserves the human mental health and assisted in adapting to and interdependence with the environment around him and he Are shown in the second chapter "The relationship between humans and the environment "
- Because of concern with the mentality of rights and respect for mental raise morale and make him feel appreciated, the housing design must achieve its occupants to safety and also helps in the appreciation of the feeling of happiness and self-realization which are shown in Chapter III, "respect mental structure of man"
Part IV: review Section IV, "Applied Studies, " a selection of some models of housing in the local environment, and conduct analytical studies on it and then work suggested designs which illustrate the application of the considerations that have been accessed through exposure in the theoretical study, including studies of design models in the local environment To explain: -
1 - The possibility of achieving human comfort at home through the application of the principles and design criteria.
2 - Ways to provide protection from environmental influences and the achievement of security interdependence between humans and the environment.
3 - Compatibility with housing rights, which make him feel happy and appreciation and can achieve the same.
And then access the configuration to the possibility of achieving health for local housing which are shown in "Applied Project"
