Abstract

The present text is the result of the First Congress around the thought of Friedrich Nietzsche held in August 2010, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Autonomous University of Puebla, as part of the hommage realized to the life and work of Nietzsche and the centenary of his death. In this sense, this text appears as an interpretation to the fundamental notions of body and dance that the philosopher suggests to a large extent of his work. That is why we emphasize the ideas of body power and transfigured body that Nietzsche proposed to generate the conception of the body of superman. Ideas that will be subsequently adopted and performed by Isadora Duncan, American dancer who later realized the philosophy of Nietzsche as rupture principles of classical dance and modern dance.
