Abstract

We have seen throughout this Congress the influence of modern technology on mathematics teaching. Many interesting talks have been given that have involved this topic. I think it has come up in every one of our formal sessions and in many of the other discussions that have taken place at this Congress. As was expected, there has been much disagreement about the place of technology in mathematics education, and so it was decided to bring these varying points of view to a focus at our final plenary technology session this morning.
