Abstract

The increasing growth of the Flat Panel Displays (FPDs) market that include liquid crystal growth (LCD), plasma display panel (PDP) and organic light emitting diode (OLED) for efficient use in various applications, is discussed. LCD market shares 90% of total display market. Display device manufacturers are increasingly investing in new manufacturing plants to be market-competitive in the LCD field. The growth in size of TV screens has encouraged the manufacturers to increase the production of LCDs. Manufacturers also significantly developing effective display technologies to use LCDs in TV application. They are also increasingly using LCDs for TV screens to enhance image resolution for viewers.
