... [Show full abstract] higher speeds, and on larger format sheets. Heidelberg will launch the large format 57-inch Speedmaster XL 145 and 64-inch XL162 sheetfed presses. MAN Roland and KBA are focusing to set up processes in parallel through placing individual motors on plate cylinders allowing them to turn independently of the press. The technological developments, including printing on plastics using a corona unit ahead of the printing towers for improving adhesion ink and substrate, will also be launched at the show.
