Abstract

Women are good planners. To them, the everyday duties of the business are just items to be organized. Perhaps that's why so many good dispatchers in the concrete business are women. They make a list of the places the ready-mix trucks need to go, whether it's with the help of the latest computer dispatch software, or by just simply writing it down on a dispatch sheet. With women dispatchers, customers are oftem more respectful and nicer on the phone, even when they're irritated because of a late delivery.
