Abstract

One of the problems with which urban storm runoff is confronted is the increase of runoff water flowing into the rivers of the urban area. This increase of runoff water is caused by the development and urbanization around the river basin. This phenomenon of the increase of runoff water produces many problems in storm water drainage. Permeable facilities for storm water control are effective countermeasures for these problems. The permeability characteristics of many permeable facilities and the influence factors on this permeability is investigated in this paper, and the permeabilities of the storm water drain for controlling storm runoff are evaluated.
