Although the 1064-nm Q-switched Nd:YAG is primarily a pigment laser, it has recently been shown to be effective for treating scars. In the management of post-blepharoepicanthoplasty scarring, this is certainly unheard of. In this paper, we present a novel technique of treating a patient with post-blepharoepicanthoplasty hypertrophic scarring with a low-fluence 1064-nm Q-switched Nd:YAG laser.
