[Show full abstract] was researching — entrepreneurship — was not well-structured, and I thought a qualitative approach would be of most help in structuring what I needed to find for education purposes; in other words, to develop relevant material for training would-be entrepreneurs. This type of approach seemed to allow me to remain closer to the empirical world. My view was that using a human activity systems approach would help me understand emerging categories of entrepreneurs’ activity systems.
