Abstract

Stress is a major cause of lost productivity, impaired functioning and serious health problems in the somatic and psychosomatic domain (Salonen et al. 2008). Still, burnout seems to be a highly controversial issue in the field of psychosomatic medicine. Very often the genesis of this disease is related to the workplace and professional practice, though, has to be considered individual predisposition. The development of this disorder appears to stem from critical episodes that leave the individual unable to complete a course of action. Hobfoll (2004) postulated a common nature of traumatic stress and stressful life events that ultimately lead to burnout process. This burnout has a profound impact on the mind and body and is related to a somatic state in particular. Neurobiological consistency promising global concept of health and wellness. The heart rate variability (HRV, for its acronym in English) is a simple measure for monitoring the neurobiological consistency and is suitable for monitoring therapy. EMDR is revealed as an ideal tool in finding a comprehensive treatment plan memories of critical events in the formation of burnout process. This conference addresses the probability of adjuvant therapy psychotherapy and psychosomatic environment. Desensitization and Reprocessing Eye Movement - EMDR (Shapiro, 2001) is emerging as an ideal tool in a comprehensive treatment plan. There is growing evidence of the effectiveness of EMDR in the treatment of burnout. Because they often EMDR is well tolerated and widely accepted, is expected to have an additional option in the treatment of burnout. MD Michael Hase explain treatment planning, with particular emphasis on the sequence and techniques. Will discuss current research and casuistry. Demonstrations from video recordings presented an outline of the main points and train participants to integrate this approach into their clinical practice.
