Abstract

Peer review is a very important process that allows scientific and technical papers to be evaluated by independent and anonymous individuals who work within the same or closely related fields. This proce- dure helps authors to improve their work and allows the editors to assess papers’ suitability for publication. Providing high quality and timely reviews is one of the most crucial aspects for the success of any peer- reviewed journal, since it creates a rigorous framework among all parties involved (authors, reviewers, editors and publishers) to ensure that only the most significant contributions are published. Given the wide scope of Structure and Infra- structure Engineering (SIE) a significant number of reviewers are required. We are thankful to all volunteer reviewers listed below who assessed SIE manuscripts over the last three and a half years (January 2009– June 2012) for their valuable efforts to the success of the journal.
