Nepal is known as a disaster prone country in the world, where exposed to several types of disasters. Among the disasters, earthquake occurs in a long time interval, but it comes with vast numbers of loss of lives and property. This study has assessed the RADIUS methods for seismic vulnerability in Inaruwa Municipality, Eastern Tarai region of Nepal. Based on each household survey using GPS, GIS ... [Show full abstract] and remote sensing tools, this study predicted the possible susceptibility within the municipality. In total, 34% of the buildings were estimated to damage within the study area. Among them, ward no 3 of the were observed the most severe damage by 364 buildings, while ward no. 1 estimated the lowest assessment of the damages. The variation in results may differ due to building structure, ages, materials and stories. The attention needs to pay where already buildings were under high risk.
