Abstract

New genus Daria daira gen et sp. nov. (family Pulleniidae, Foraminifera) is discovered in the Upper Cretaceous deposits of Maastrichtian stage in Lithuania (type locality, borehole Meiliūnai, depth 260.3 m). Nom. nov. Dariellina Grigelis, 1970 instead of preoccupied Daria Ragonot, 1888, is published in Paleontologicheskiy zhurnal in 1980.
