The purpose of this study was to analyze moral education on moral education in elementary school children with a storytelling approach. This study used an experimental design in testing moral education in elementary school children with a storytelling approach. The instruments used to collect data in this study were questionnaires, learning outcomes tests, score inventory and self-evaluation. The questionnaire was designed to determine the feasibility of moral education instruction. The learning outcome test is used to find out the score. Data analysis used multivariate analysis of variance. The results showed that there was a significant difference after storytelling on moral development (t = 3.478 and p = 0.006 (p <0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that storytelling can improve the moral development of elementary school students in Karangasem Regency. .

The present study aimed to explore the relevance of personality and parenting styles to self-esteem and academic performance among undergraduate students in Hong Kong. Specifically, the relative strengths of conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism, authoritative parenting, and authoritarian parenting in predicting self-esteem and academic performance, respectively, were examined. Gender differences among variables were also investigated. In total, 103 students participated in this study, including 51 males, 50 females, and two students who preferred not to disclose their gender. Multiple regression analysis was utilised to analyse the data. The results indicated that extraversion, neuroticism, and authoritative parenting were significant predictors of self-esteem, while conscientiousness was a significant predictor of academic performance. Only authoritarian parenting was not found to be a significant predictor of either self-esteem or academic performance. Moreover, multiple gender differences were identified for variables predicting self-esteem and variables predicting academic performance. Results were discussed, as well as implications for parents and educators, and future directions in research.

Individuals with dyslexia experience obstacles in the academic learning process, including the transition from high school to college. In the case of children with special need, parents' educational expectations may also be essential to be pointed. This study aims to understand parental educational expectations of adolescents with dyslexia at high school level and to provide the suitable recommendations for college preparation. The research was conducted by case study approach and thematic analysis. The result shows that parental educational expectations toward adolescents with dyslexia can be classified into academic expectations, career expectations, personal development expectations, and parents' personal expectations. Parents' expectations are formed by children psychological well-being, religious beliefs, lack of environmental support, and perceived children's abilities. The supports needed are adequate school programs, counselling with professional, and understanding from the society. Further research can be carried out by considering differences in socioeconomic background and the gender of children in the family.

Learning motivation plays a crucial role in students' academic achievement, especially at the high school level. Many students experience a decline in learning motivation, indicated by their inability to set learning goals, lack of initiative, and frequent procrastination. This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation by applying self-regulated learning (SRL) strategies and to identify the levels of learning motivation among students at SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB. The research employed a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants were students with moderate learning motivation, evaluated through interviews and observations. The findings revealed that the implementation of SRL significantly increased students' learning motivation. The motivation scores improved from a moderate category (pretest scores <81.3) to a high category (post-test scores >81.3) after the intervention. The Wilcoxon test showed significant results (Asymp. Sig. 0.003), confirming the effectiveness of the intervention. The SRL technique helped students manage their time, set goals, solve problems, and evaluate learning outcomes, making them more independent and motivated. Abstrak. Motivasi belajar sangat penting bagi prestasi akademik siswa, terutama di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Banyak siswa mengalami penurunan motivasi belajar. Indikator rendahnya motivasi ini meliputi ketidakmampuan menetapkan tujuan belajar, kurangnya inisiatif , dan sering menunda tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar Siswa dengan mnerapkan strategi self-regulated learning (SRL) serta untuk mengetahui tingkatan motivasi belajar siswa-siswi SMA Muhammadiyah 10 GKB. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-postest. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dengan motivasi belajar dalam kategori sedanh, yang dievaluasi melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SRL secara signifikan meningatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Skor motivasi belajar meningkat dari kategori sedang (nilai pretest <81,3) menjadi kategori tinggi (nilai post-test >81,3) setelah intervensi. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan hasil signifikan (Asymp. Sig. 0,003), mengonfirmasi efektifitas intervensi. Teknik SRL membantu siswa dalam mengelola waktu, menetapkan tujuan, memecahakan masalah, dan mengevaluasi hasil belajar, sehingga mereka menjadi lebih mandiri dan termotivasi.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui konflik peran ganda sebagai prediktor terhadap keberfungsian keluarga pada Perempuan bekerja dan berkeluarga di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 407 respoden. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Functional Family McMaster yang telah dikonstruk oleh Rahmadani (2019) yang mengacu pada aspek teori Epstein, dkk (1983) dengan nilai reliabilitas 0.748 dan skala Konflik Peran Ganda yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia oleh Andini (2019) yang mengacu pada pengembangan aspek konflik peran ganda oleh Greenhaus & Beutell (1985); Gutek, dkk (1991). Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik analisis regresi sederhana dengan bantuan software IBM Statistic SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik peran ganda dapat menjadi prediktor terhadap keberfungsian keluarga dengan nilai signifikansi (p=0.000; p<0.005) dan kontribusi sebesar 3.1%.

Delincvența la tineri constituie frecvent un subiect semnificativ de discuție la nivel global și național, fiind percepută ca o entitate conexă cu mecanismele globale ale societății. Aceasta include familie, instituțile educative, procesul educațional, credințele religioase, interacțiunile umane, standardele și regulile sociale, privarea de oportunități, lipsa resurselor, ostracizarea și dezorganizarea colectivului social (Rădulescu & Dâmboianu, 2003; Agnew, 1992; Murzea, 2015). Pentru o analiză comprehensivă a fenomenului delincvenței juvenile, atât în sens general cât și în contextul specific al României, se recomandă o perspectivă multidimensională. Aceasta implică considerarea factorilor biologici, psihologici și sociali asociați cu delincvența, care pot funcționa ca elemente corelate, predictive sau catalizatoare ai acestui fenomen.

The metacognition in mathematics learning on solving word problems, explicitly described the solving strategies using metacognition anchored from the two metacognitive components. The students' knowledge of cognition in mathematics learning in terms of declarative knowledge utilized specific metacognitive strategies such as activating concepts on the problem and identifying and determining concepts and information techniques which include specific implication of strategies that elaborate concepts such as reading and recalling, translating, identifying mathematical concepts, determining the needed information, and understanding the leading question. Students' procedural knowledge in mathematics learning utilized specific metacognitive strategies such as substituting, representing, and organizing process, which include specific implication of strategies that elaborate concepts to the substitution process, use of representation while solving, and organizing solution coherently and logically. This study aims to determine the effect of self-compassion and peer social support on career decision-making self-efficacy (CDMSE) among Generation Z college students in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative methods with a regression analysis approach. Sampling was conducted using non-probability sampling techniques with an accidental sampling approach. This study involved 367 active college students from Generation Z, aged 18-24, residing or studying in the metropolitan area of Greater Bandung. Greater Bandung was chosen as the research location because it represents the characteristics of Generation Z in Indonesia. The city is a center of education and culture with diverse higher education institutions that attract students from across the country. Data was collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire, using scales that had been previously adapted and developed to measure self-compassion, peer social support, and CDMSE. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicated that self-compassion and peer social support, both individually and simultaneously, positively influenced career decision-making self-efficacy among Generation Z. This suggests that students with higher levels of self-compassion and social support from peers tend to have greater confidence in making career decisions.

The phenomenon of toxic friendship among university students is a significant issue because of its impact on mental health, academic achievement, and individual social abilities. This study aims to identify forms of toxic friendship, provide education about healthy friendship relationships, and develop prevention strategies based on religiosity values. The methods used included psychoeducation and observation, which were applied to students of Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta. The intervention results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the impact of toxic friendship and the ability to manage interpersonal relationships in a healthier manner. The programme also emphasised the importance of integrating religiosity values as a foundation in establishing positive friendship relationships. This study recommends ongoing programmes such as communication skills training, support group formation, and psychological consultation services to address these challenges.

Permasalahan karyawan terjadi akibat merger Pelindo, yang meliputi peningkatan beban kerja, kekhawatiran terkait penempatan kerja yang jauh dari rumah, potensi pelecehan di tempat kerja, dan penghentian sementara promosi. Hal-hal ini berdampak negatif pada kesejahteraan dan motivasi karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara psychological capital dengan workplace well-being pada pegawai di PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Persero Regional 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara psychological capital dengan workplace well-being pada karyawan di PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Persero Regional 1. Kemudian dilihat dari keempat aspek psychological capital, aspek hope dan optimism menunjukkan pengaruh yang paling kuat dan positif terhadap kesejahteraan karyawan di tempat kerja. Sedangkan aspek self-efficacy juga memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan, tetapi tidak sekuat hope dan optimism. Aspek resilience tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Secara keseluruhan, psychological capital, khususnya aspek hope dan optimism, memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan workplace well-being karyawan. Dengan demikian penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya psychological capital, terutama aspek hope dan optimism, dalam meningkatkan workplace well-being karyawan. Sehingga, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan karyawan di tempat kerja, yang pada akhirnya dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan produktivitas, retensi karyawan, dan keberhasilan organisasi secara keseluruhan.

Bidikmisi students typically originate from low socioeconomic backgrounds and encounter a variety of risk factors that impede their ability to meet the requirements of the Bidikmisi scholarship, particularly in financial terms. This study utilized a qualitative collective case study methodology to investigate the pathways leading to educational resilience by examining the interplay of protective and risk factors, which are hypothesized to differ between “resilient (n=15) and “non-resilient” (n=10) students, as determined by their Grade Point Average (GPA) and engagement in non-academic activities. Purposive sampling was employed to select Bidikmisi students based on specific criteria. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with third-year Bidikmisi students and were analyzed using the Social Ecological and Doughnut Resilience frameworks. The findings revealed that, in addition to financial constraints, students faced several other risk factors, including inadequate learning facilities, social barriers, social pressure, familial issues, motivation deficits, personal traits, learning difficulties, and physical and psychological health challenges. Conversely, protective factors were identified within parental support, skill development, family and identity, education, peer relationships, community engagement, and financial resources.

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is an important stage in building a child's personality and character. This research aims to examine the implementation of the Child Friendly School (SRA) program at KB Al Mardhiyyah 3 Samarinda in supporting positive parenting. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation involving school principals, teachers and parents. The research results show that the implementation of SRA in this school includes managing a safe physical environment, positive parenting by teachers, play-based learning, parenting programs, and promoting a culture of anti-violence. Supporting factors for success include the principal's commitment, teacher training and parental involvement, while the main challenges are the low awareness of some parents about positive parenting and limited facilities due to lack of financial support. This research concludes that SRA at KB Al Mardhiyyah 3 has succeeded in creating a child-friendly educational environment and supporting children's growth and development holistically, although they still face obstacles that require innovative strategies.

Fenomena di lapangan menunjukkan kurangnya pemahaman terhadap perencanaan karier mahasiswa. Produk dalam melakukan penelitian menggunakan model ADDIE. Peneliti menggunakan angket validasi yang diuji oleh validator untuk melakukan pengujian dan hasil validasi ahli materi dengan nilai persentase 83,6%, validasi ahli desain dengan nilai persentase 80%, validasi ahli praktisi dengan nilai persentase 80%, validasi ahli praktik dengan nilai persentase 80%. nilai persentase sebesar 80% sehingga panduan layanan bimbingan karier berdasarkan teori karier sifat dan faktor dinyatakan sangat layak. Hasil eksperimen terlihat dari pre-test dan post-test yang dilakukan siswa dengan menjawab 10 soal. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan nilai post-test lebih besar yaitu 86% dibandingkan nilai pre-test dengan nilai 67,2%. Dengan demikian, produk panduan bimbingan karier berdasarkan teori karier trait and factor dapat digunakan dalam proses layanan bimbingan karier.

This research evaluates the effectiveness of a topical approach in teaching recount text writing to eighth-grade students at State of Junior High School number 42 of Palembang. Employing a quantitative pre-experimental design, the study sampled 34 students who underwent pre-tests and post-tests to measure their writing abilities. The findings indicated a significant improvement in the students' writing skills after using the topical approach. The average pre-test score was 52.5, with scores ranging from 31 to 68.5. After the intervention, the average post-test score increased to 75.7, with a range from 53 to 92.5. The t-test analysis revealed a t-obtained value of 13.31, surpassing the critical value of 1.692, leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. During the pre-test, students struggled with idea generation and grammatical accuracy. Post-intervention results showed that students became more adept at generating ideas, using correct grammar, narrating experiences, and expanding their vocabulary. Thus, the topical approach proved effective in enhancing recount text writing skills among the eighth grade State of Junior High School Number 42 of Palembang.

The research entitled "Societal Influences and Academic Environment as Determinants of Moral Decadence among Students with Hearing Impairment in Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo" investigates the effects of societal and academic factors on the moral conduct of students with hearing impairments. The study adopted a descriptive survey research approach, sampling 300 students using purposive sampling and utilising three measures to assess moral decay, societal values, and academic influences. The findings indicated a significant prevalence of moral decline, characterised by behaviours such as academic dishonesty and substance addiction. The research indicated that societal values exhibited a negative correlation with moral decay, whereas the academic environment demonstrated a substantial positive impact.Statistical investigations, encompassing Pearson’s correlation and multiple regressions, validated a significant combined effect of societal and academic influences on students’ moral behaviour, explaining 98.4% of the variation. The study finds that addressing these elements is essential for mitigating moral decline among students with hearing impairments.

Latar Belakang: Permasalahan remaja yang mengalami penelantaran akibat salah satu atau kedua orangtua meninggal, atau karena masalah ekonomi keluarga dapat berdampak pada rendahnya tingkat kepuasan hidup yang ditandai dengan ketidakmampuan dalam menerima diri sehingga memiliki harga diri yang rendah serta muncul perilaku-perilaku negatif lainnya. Di UPTD Kesejahteraan Sosial Anak “Riang” Naibonat Kupang terdapat 89 orang remaja yang mengalami penelantaran yang berdampak pada rendahnya kepuasan hidup remaja. Tujuan: Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu memberikan pelatihan kepada remaja untuk memiliki pengetahuan dan ketrampilan agar dapat merasakan kepuasan hidup. Metode: Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yakni pelatihan yang terdiri dari penyuluhan tentang kepuasan hidup dan dorongan faktor Religiusitas serta pelatihan minfulness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada hubungan positif antara keberfungsian keluarga dengan kepuasan hidup pada anak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak-anak berusia 10-12 tahun, laki-laki dan/atau perempuan, beragama Islam, memiliki ayah dan ibu. Penelitian ini mengambil subjek siswa-siswi kelas IV dan V sebanyak 69, dengan populasi sebanyak 227 anak. Adapun skala yang digunakan adalah skala keberfungsian keluarga dan skala kepuasan hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan, penggunaan teknologi keuangan, dan perilaku keuangan sebagai variabel intervening terhadap kepuasan keuangan para generasi milenial yang berprofesi sebagai PNS pada Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kementerian Dalam Negeri. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, dan pengujian inferensial dengan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan piranti SmartPLS. Orang tua khawatir akibat meningkatnya kekerasan seksual pada anak usia dini. Pendidikan seksual hadir sebagai sarana untuk mencegah terjadinya kekerasan seksual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan persepsi guru muslim dan materi pendidikan seksual yang diterapkan di RA Kota Semarang. Metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subyek penelitian yaitu empat guru dari tiga TK Islam di Kota Semarang dengan menerapkan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitiaan dilakukan selama satu bulan pada bulan Agustus 2023. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap subyek penelitian dan dokumentasi penelitian. Peneliti menggunakan triangulasi data untuk memverifikasi kredibilitas penelitian. Data dianalisis dengan teknik analisis Miles dan Huberman. Egocentric videos present unique challenges for 3D scene understanding due to rapid camera motion, frequent object occlusions, and limited object visibility. This paper introduces a novel approach to instance segmentation and tracking in first-person video that leverages 3D awareness to overcome these obstacles. Our method integrates scene geometry, 3D object centroid tracking, and instance segmentation to create a robust framework for analyzing dynamic egocentric scenes. By incorporating spatial and temporal cues, we achieve superior performance compared to state-of-the-art 2D approaches. Extensive evaluations on the challenging EPIC Fields dataset demonstrate significant improvements across a range of tracking and segmentation consistency metrics. Specifically, our method outperforms the next best performing approach by 7 points in Association Accuracy (AssA) and 4.5 points in IDF1 score, while reducing the number of ID switches by 73%73\% to 80%80\% across various object categories. Leveraging our tracked instance segmentations, we showcase downstream applications in 3D object reconstruction and amodal video object segmentation in these egocentric settings.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Gambaran Kedisiplinan Siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Kedisiplinan adalah taat pada aturan dan tata tertib yang berlaku tanpa adanya tekanan dari luar tetapi berdasarkan kesadaran diri sendiri (Tu’u, 2004). Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 300 siswa(i). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kedisiplinan berdasarkan dari teori Tu’u (2004). Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan teknik sampling proportioned stratified random sampling. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kedisiplinan siswa(i) SMP Negeri 13 Makassar terdapat 21 responden (7,0%) untuk kategori sangat rendah, terdapat 64 responden (21,3%) yang berada pada kategori rendah, namun terdapat 110 responden (36,7%) untuk kategori sedang, dan 81 responden (27,0%) pada kategori Tinggi, kemudian terdapat 24 responden (8,0%) untuk kategori sangat tinggi. Sehingga hasil penelitian berada pada kategori sedang yang artinya bahwa secara umum perilaku disiplin siswa di sekolah masih perlu ditingkatkan lagi, mengingat pentingnya perilaku tersebut untuk tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran yang ada.

All aspects of life, including the education system, have undergone many changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We need media that can facilitate and attract students to carry out learning activities. This study aims to develop GeoGebra-based mathematics learning media. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The research was carried out at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Mathematics Study Program in semester 3. The research subjects for the small-scale field test were class A, which had 32 students; for the large-scale field test, there were 132 students in Mathematics Education 3rd Semester. The results of research on the development of GeoGebra-based learning media in the Flat Analytical Geometry course for students majoring in Mathematics Education at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung were declared valid, practical and effective. The future hope for developing similar media is to expand the scope of the material discussed because the media developed is limited to flat analytic geometry operations.

Adolescent psychological well-being has emerged as a global concern. This cross-sectional study investigates the relationship between parental attachment and the psychological well-being of adolescents residing in an Islamic boarding school in West Java. A total of 313 participants, aged 11-18, were included in this supervised online survey, comprising 133 boys and 180 girls. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation tests and regression analysis. The findings reveal a significant positive correlation between parental attachment and adolescents' psychological well-being. These results offer valuable insights into the unique context of Islamic boarding schools, carrying significant implications for educators, parents, and policymakers. This association underscores the fundamental role of establishing trust and emotional connections between parents and adolescents, particularly prior to considering enrollment in Islamic boarding schools. Furthermore, these findings hold importance for educators and policymakers in designing policies within Islamic boarding schools that support well-being. p>Moral decadence, which is the collapse of moral and ethical values, norms, and principles, has not escaped the creative imagination of the American-Nigerian novelist, Teju Cole in his novel Every Day is for the Thief. In this novel, the unnamed narrator discusses this issue without sympathy and shows the extent to which unethical deeds have cut across the social strata with the benediction of all the stakeholders, unfortunately. The corruption and violence inherent in these unethical activities are characteristics of a society in decadence. The analysis of data gathered shows that the perceived causes of these have their roots in the activities of corrupt civil servants in complicity with government officials, and the youth who are exposed to inappropriate media with a lack of parental guidance. This paper examines the issue of moral decadence, its root catalysts and the urgent need to address this problem in an effort to bring back moral sanity through socialization and resocialization. The analysis is done through the lens of psychoanalysis, and the findings suggest that resocialization/re-education and a shift in mindset can aid in the restoration of ethical values, ultimately paving the way for a thriving and sustainable society. La décadence morale, qui est l’effondrement des valeurs, normes et principes moraux et éthiques, n’a pas échappé à l’imagination créatrice du romancier américano-nigérian Teju Cole dans son roman « plusieurs jours pour le voleur ». People with high self-esteem are better able to take delight in life's little pleasures, handle difficult situations, overcome challenges, establish lasting relationships, and strengthen their weaknesses. This study examined socioeconomic status, body image, and peer influence on self-esteem among in-school adolescents in Ibadan, Nigeria. The descriptive survey design of the correlational type was used during the investigation. This study employed a multi-stage sampling technique. Three hundred and forty-five in-school adolescents made the study sample. Data was collected using reliable instruments: (Peer Influence Scale α = .78; Body image scale α =0.83; Parental Socioeconomic Status Scale α =0.89; Self-Esteem Inventory α=.71). From the results, socioeconomic status (r = .533; p.<05), body image (r =. 577; p.<05), and peer influence (r = .331; p.<05) had a significant relationship with (self-esteem). Body Image made the most significant contribution (β = .371; t = 7.555; p<0.05) followed by Peer influence (β = .316; t = 8.112; p<0.05) and Socioeconomic status (β = .312; t = 6.374; p<0.05). The study underscores the need for counseling and orientation programs for adolescents in all ramifications; this will help ease the psychological strain that could hamper their self-esteem.

The study was designed to identify the Causes of the Enrolment Gap from Nursery to 5th Class in district Rahim Yar Khan. The population of the study was all teachers of Govt boys and girls’ primary schools of District Rahim Yar Khan. The total sample was 720 Primary teachers of 360 Govt. Primary Schools of 90 Clusters of District Rahim Yar Khan. The filled questionnaires were received from 598 teachers. So the rate of responses was 83%. Further, mean and accumulative mean scores were calculated and compared and results were drawn. Further enrolment gaps were identified from enrolment sheets. According to respondents' failure in exams, unavailability of learning materials, and lack of financial resources are the main causes of enrolment gaps. There is a need to implement plans and Policies at the Primary level.

This study aims to investigate the role of the duration of dating on anxiety and commitment in early adulthood. The study involved 172 early adults (aged 20-30 years) who are currently in romantic relationships, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments included the anxiety scale and commitment scale, based on previous theoretical aspects. Data analysis was conducted using Two Way ANOVA with JAMOVI software to examine the role of the duration of dating on anxiety and commitment. The results of the study showed that there was no significant role of the duration of dating on anxiety and commitment. The study also examined the relationship between the duration of dating and several demographic variables such as gender, occupation, and long-distance relationship (LDR), but no significant effects were found. Therefore, it can be concluded that the duration of dating, whether long or short, does not play a role in the anxiety and commitment of couples in maintaining romantic relationships at a more serious level, such as marriage. The duration of dating was found to be unable to predict anxiety and commitment in relationships. Other variables related to dating, such as relationship quality, satisfaction, and personal factors, are considered to be more involved in predicting anxiety and commitment in dating relationships. This study has practical implications as a reference in premarital counseling and couples therapy to understand the dynamics of romantic dating relationships in individuals.

Academic performance is negatively impacted by an unfriendly home environment and increases academic stress among school students. This study examined the association between academic stress and home environment as well as explored the influence of the home environment in causing academic stress among adolescent school students. One hundred and twenty (120) school students were randomly selected from a government school and three private schools in Tiruvannamalai district, Tamil Nadu, India, and completed the measures of academic stress and home environment by using the Educational Stress Scale for Adolescent (ESSA; Sun et al., 2011) and Home Environment Inventory (HEI; Mishra, 1983). The findings revealed that academic stress did not differ significantly among school students, regardless of gender or type of school (government vs. private). In the home environment, however, there was a significant gender difference in the control sub-dimension and social isolation. Also, there was an association between academic stress and home environment dimensions such as control, punishment, and deprivation of privileges. Punishment was positively influenced by academic stress, whereas nurturance was negatively influenced by academic stress. These findings were discussed about the reduction of negative home environment outcomes in individuals experiencing academic stress.

The study examined the relationship between self esteem and peer pressure on sexual risky behaviors among female undergraduates. 284 participants were drawn from Chukwuemeka Odumegau Ojukwu University, Igbariam Campus with age range of 20 to 65. Two sets of instruments were administered simultaneously for the study. Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale and The Susceptibility to Peer Pressure Scale. The study was a survey and a correlational design. Linear regression was employed as the statistical tool for data analysis. The result showed that peer pressure and self esteem have positive significant relationship with sexual risky behaviors among female undergraduates. The study indicated the importance of employing clinical psychologist who can intervene in risky sexual behaviors in the university settings. NPA JOURNALS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Permainan Tradisional Ma’boy Terhadap Kemampuan Motorik Kasar Anak Usia Dini Di TK Aisyiyah Sugitangnga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak didik di TK Aisyiyah Sugitangnga yang berjumlah 35 anak. Dalam penelitian ini pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sample dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 anak dengan pembagian kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 10 anak dan 10 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik non parametrik dengan menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak yang diberi perlakuan permainan tradisional ma’boy pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Nilai peningkatan rata-rata kemampuan motorik anak pada kelompok eksperimen yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis data yaitu sebanyak 24,80 sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol 14,50. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) 0.005 < 0.05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan tradisional ma’boy memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini.

This paper investigates the symbolic concepts of transhumance (kuwila) among the Tonga people residing in the Kafue Flats, specifically within the chiefdoms of Mwanachingwala, Hamusonde, and Mungaila in Southern Province, Zambia. Transhumance, traditionally seen as the seasonal movement of cattle, is reinterpreted in this study as a deeply symbolic practice, intricately connected to the social, cultural, and spiritual fabric of the Tonga community. Through a multidisciplinary lens, the study examines how kuwila serves as a rite of passage for young herdsmen, facilitating their journey of self-discovery and social rehabilitation. This practice is also explored as a means of reinforcing communal bonds and transmitting cultural values, particularly through the invocation of ancestral spirits and the use of ritualistic numbers, such as the number seven, which symbolizes completeness in both Tonga and biblical traditions. The research further analyses the role of cattle ownership as a pedagogical tool, essential for teaching responsibility and leadership to the younger generation. The herdsmen's deep attachment to their cattle is framed as a reflection of their spiritual and familial connections, with cattle often being named after ancestors to ensure protection and continuity. In addition to its cultural significance, kuwila is highlighted as a crucial practice for resource management and environmental sustainability in the Kafue Flats. The paper underscores the importance of integrating traditional knowledge with modern governance strategies, advocating for a holistic approach to managing the region’s natural resources. By bridging the gap between cultural practices and ecological management, this study contributes to a broader understanding of how indigenous knowledge systems can inform contemporary governance and sustainability efforts in Southern Zambia.

Mahasiswa perantau menghadapi tantangan dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan baru yang sering kali berbeda dengan lingkungan asalnya. Kesulitan menyesuaikan diri ini dapat memicu perasaan kesepian (loneliness), yang selanjutnya berdampak pada perilaku menunda tugas akademik atau prokrastinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara loneliness dan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa perantau di Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 393 mahasiswa perantau yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner Loneliness Scale oleh de Jong- Gierveld dan Kamphuls dan modifikasi Skala Penundaan Akademik (APS) oleh McCloskey dan Scielzo. Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan nilai p < 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,601, yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara loneliness dan prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil perhitungan ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat loneliness pada mahasiswa perantau, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan untuk melakukan prokrastinasi akademik.

This research aims to identify: the relationship between work stress and work fatigue among mining employees at PT Karya Megah Buton; and the relationship between workload and work fatigue among mining employees at PT Karya Megah Buton. The approach used is quantitative, with data collected through interviews, literature studies, and the distribution of questionnaires. The research sample consists of 30 production employees from PT Megah Buton. The validity and reliability of the research instruments were tested using SPSS 22.0. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 4.0 for the outer and structural models. The results of the study indicate that work stress not significant effect on work fatigue, with a t-statistic value of 1.578 and a p-value of 0.58. In contrast, workload has a positive and significant effect on work fatigue, with a t-statistic value of 3.329 and a p-value of 0.000.

Seeing the many cases of adolescent violence that occurred in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, this study was interested in examining the suitability of authoritative parenting and self-regulation abilities to the level of adolescent aggressiveness. The subjects of this study were 154 class XII students of State Senior High School 1 Sleman. The sample selection was obtained using a stratified random sampling technique. The aim is to obtain student representation from each class. Researchers use the scale as the main tool in obtaining research data on aggressiveness, authoritative parenting and self-regulation. The data was then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the SPSS V26 program. The results of the analysis showed that, simultaneously, authoritative parenting and self-regulation were very significant in suppressing the emergence of aggressiveness in adolescents (F=51.76 and Sig.=.000). Then, both authoritative parenting (Beta=-.37 with Sig.=.000) and self-regulation (Beta=-.35 with Sig.=.000) both were able to have a significant effect on adolescent aggressiveness partially. The conclusion is that adolescents need authoritative parenting at this phase; this is necessary to avoid the emergence or development of aggressiveness in adolescents. Besides that, adolescents must also be equipped with self-regulation skills because most activities are carried out without parental supervision.

This study explores prosocial behavior among high school students, focusing on MAN Sidoarjo. Using a sample of 275 students, data was collected via a prosocial behavior scale and analyzed descriptively. Results indicate that while overall prosocial behavior is moderate, males exhibit lower levels compared to females. These findings emphasize the need to address gender differences in promoting prosocial behavior among high school students. The transition to college is challenging, often linked to adjustment difficulties and mental health risks. This mixed-methods sequential explanatory study examined factors impacting these difficulties among freshmen, focusing on cognitive distortions (illogical thinking patterns). Quantitative results reveal a significant relationship between socio-economic factors, cognitive distortions, and adjustment difficulties. Qualitative interviews then identified five key themes: academic adjustment difficulties, financial stress, career choice difficulties, social adjustment difficulties, and psychological distress. These themes illustrate how socio-economic pressures and negative thought patterns manifest in specific challenges faced by students. These findings underscore the need for comprehensive support programs addressing both financial and psychological well-being, as well as targeted interventions focusing on cognitive restructuring and coping skills development to facilitate a smoother transition to college life.

Penelitian ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian lapangan dengan latar belakang adanya pergaulan bebas yang dilakukan oleh sebagian remaja di Desa Sondosia dimana orangtua kurang peduli dengan pola asuh yang harus diterapkan serta kurang mengontrol dan membiarkan pergaulannya sehingga anak terlibat dalam pergaulan yang menyimpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia remaja yang dimana di Desa tersebut adalah mayoritas muslim. Lokasi penelitian ini bertempat di Desa Sondosia Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan empiris. Dalam pengumpulan data tekhnik yang digunakan ialah observasi nonpartisipatif, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa: Pertama kehidupan anak usia remaja di Desa Sondosia Kecamatan Bolo Kabupaten Bima dapat dikatakan kurang baik karena masih ada ditemuinya pergaulan negatif yang ditemui pada sebagian remaja di Desa Sondosia seperti penggunaan tramadol, merokok di usia dini, tawuran remaja, bolos sekolah, berkata kasar dan tidak sopan terhadap orang tua, tidak ta’at, keluturan tengah malam serta jarang beribadah karena kurangnya kontrol dan pengawasan dari orang tua. Walaupun masih ada ditemui remaja yang memiliki sikap dan sifat teladan dan terpuji seperti memiliki sopan santun, rajin beribadah dan lain sebagainya. The Teacher's Web Tool: Peace Village (http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~gvdaukan/peacevillage) is designed for the purpose of providing educators with an intuitively designed Web-based resource to augment student learning in at least three curriculums. The audience intended for this Web site includes teachers of computing in K-12 educational settings. A variety of interactive material and content is matched with three interactive quizzes,, which act as a tool to re-enforce student learning and the teaching of computing in K-12 grades. This site shares information concerning an integrated Web-based theme that addresses the topic of friendship, mutual respect, and peace to those who teach about computers, computing, and computer science. The Web site contents were constructed with Web authoring tools-Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Flash CS3 Quiz templates, and Adobe Photoshop CS3. The site was implemented to include the necessary digital and textual information that focuses students on Web-based activities embedded within a folk tale quiz, a history quiz, and a rocks, caves, and ecosystems quiz. The Teacher's Web Tool site incorporates a collaborative approach to Web design by incorporating three interactive learning modules and quizzes that address six randomized questions in sequential order. This approach establishes a clear consideration of a teacher's epistemic or pedagogical beliefs about the infusion of technology in the classroom. Abstrak - Remaja akhir adalah remaja dengan rentang usia 18 – 21 tahun. Ketika merantau untuk keperluan melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi, banyak remaja yang mengalami kesulitan penyesuaian diri karena adanya perbedaan seperti misalnya perbedaan budaya di tempat asal SMA dengan budaya di kota tempat kuliah, sifat pendidikan dari SMA ke perkuliahan, dan perbedaan pola komunikasi serta norma sosial yang ada. Apabila remaja tidak dapat beradaptasi dengan semua perubahan tersebut maka remaja yang merantau akan cenderung mengalami perasaan terasing dan kesepian. Kesepian adalah perasaan ketika hubungan sosial yang diinginkan tidak tercapai, termasuk muncul perasaan kurang nyaman, gelisah, tertekan, dan kesusahan. Saat mengalami kesepian inilah, remaja yang merantau jauh dari keluarga sangat membutuhkan dukungan keluarga. Jika remaja memiliki fungsi keluarga yang baik maka remaja tidak akan merasa sendiri dan tidak terlalu merasa kesepian. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dalam pengambilan data dan didapatkan 146 partisipan. Kesepian diukur menggunakan skala dari Russell yaitu UCLA loneliness version 3 dan skala family functioning yang dibuat oleh peneliti sendiri. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik non-parametrik yaitu Kendall’s Tau B karena ada uji asumsi yang tidak terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara kesepian dan family functioning pada remaja akhir yang merantau dengan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,355 dengan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi family functioning, maka semakin rendah kesepian yang dirasakan individu dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Didapatkan juga bahwa variabel family functioning memberikan sumbangan efektif sebesar 12,6% terhadap variabel kesepian. Walaupun jauh dari keluarga namun anak ternyata masih membutuhkan dukungan, perhatian, dan kasih sayang dari keluarga.

One big part of children's development in general is language and literacy. Due to the control of social encounters during the pandemic, the development of this particular area is greatly affected. Children were unable to make use of their knowledge in practical situations. Schools, as the main driving force of children's evolution, need to put in more effort in order to catch up with the delay of development caused by the pandemic. This research is focusing on the changes of students of International Islamic School Yogyakarta's language and literacy development after having to learn in the middle of a pandemic for over two years. This research also aims to ascertain the school's method to adapt to the new normal situation and their strategies on dealing with the changes post-pandemic. This research is conducted using a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach through observation and interviews. Results show that the pandemic was a big challenge though it was not the biggest obstacle for International Islamic School Yogyakarta. Despite not being able to fulfill the target for the language development, the school has given all possible best service for the students. On the other hand, the development of literacy progressed rather well that the school took on an award of a National Literacy School of the year 2021. Abstrak. COVID-19 berdampak besar hampir pada seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk pendidikan, dan mencangkup aspek bahasa serta literasi di dalamnya. Bahasa dan literasi merupakan salah satu elemen yang penting dalam masa perkembangan anak. Keterbatasan yang dialami oleh siswa selama masa pandemi tentu berpengaruh terhadap bagaimana pembelajaran di sekolah terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD International Islamic School Yogyakarta dengan desain penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan deskriptif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi perkembangan kemampuan bahasa dan literasi siswa setelah melakukan pembelajaran secara daring selama kurang lebih dua tahun dan mengidentifikasi strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru serta sekolah dalam menghadapi masa transisi pasca pandemi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pandemi tidak menjadi penghalang besar bagi sekolah yang kami tuju. Secara umum, setelah pandemi berangsur membaik, target sekolah mengenai kemampuan bahasa siswa memang belum mencapai target yang diinginkan, tetapi sekolah berupaya semaksimal mungkin dalam memberikan fasilitas yang terbaik untuk siswa.
