The Observation of the Untreated Cases for Congenital Muscular Torticollis (The first report)

Since 1957, we have studied for spontaneous healing in the congenital muscular torticollis. The material of this report were eighty-five patients who were observed for more than one year.They were divided into two groups, fortyeight treated group by massage and manipulation, and thirty-seven control untreated group.The result was as follows.Ninety-two per-cent of the untreated group showed good or excellent spontaneous healing and the remaining eight per cent required the surgical treatment, while eighty-seven per-cent of the treated group gave the same excellent result, and theseventeen per-cent needed surgery.Qur results revealed that the massage or manipulation may not he helpful in the treatment of the congenital muscular torticollis.

One mode, the high-resolution mode, allows for 16 colors to be selected from 256,000. Half-toning is a form of color mixing. Two different colors are mixed in various amounts to produce other colors. The methods for mixing these colors are the same as for dithering. If blue pixels are sprinkled into an area filled with red, the area will start to appear purple. As more blue is added the area becomes more purple. If too much is added the area starts becoming bluer. Methods used for half-toning are the same as for dithering. A mathematical formula can be used to determine whether a pixel should be one color or the other.
