Safety Evaluation Model for Road Dangerous Goods Transportation Enterprises Based on Combinational Evaluation Model

To evaluate safety grade of road dangerous goods transportation enterprises, this paper presents five evaluation indices. In practical engineering, the indices were defined, and their calculating methods and grade values were given. According to the basic principles of subjective and objective weighting methods, an evaluation model is built up by means of a combinational evaluation method based on multi-objective programming, and an example is given to validate the practicability of it. The results show that the model can more accurately work out the safety grade of transportation enterprises than traditional evaluation methods and thus can perfectly reflect the comprehensive level of enterprises safety management.

[Show full abstract] of the rutting morphology, making it difficult to evaluate the influence of rutting on traffic safety effectively. This paper puts forward multi-dimensional indicators considering travel safety via analyzing rutting cross-sectional morphology by the data measured through a 13-sensor rut bar. An evaluation model combining Grey-AHP is established and the results of onsite rutting data show that multi-dimensional indicators give a true and rational evaluation of rutting's impact on travel safety.

More than ten variables are adopted in the evaluation model. This method can quantify roadside safety performance in terms of the level of roadside danger degree which can be divided into I, II, III and IV four levels. The higher the level is, the worse the roadside safety performance is. And then with some of the cases and a brief analysis, the suitable proposal of the types of safety facilities according to the different level of roadside dangerous degree is provided. An application of the method provided here demonstrates that it can perspicuously and accurately reflect the influences of roadside factors on traffic safety in a complicated system.
