Interest in complementary therapies is growing rapidly and the number of people using them is rising. This paper outlines what is currently being taught within undergraduate medical curricula and suggests that, if and when complementary therapies gain a wider inclusion and accepted place, this should embrace the holistic philosophies on which many are founded.
