We developed preconception health information appropriate for female college students and evaluated a website designed to deliver the information. Feedback from experts in the field was used to develop web content. Evaluation of the website was done through direct e-mail sent to 102 students, of which 62% responded. Most participants were unmarried females. This project showed that it is feasible to develop an effective, evidence-based preconception health education website for college students through the collaboration of a nurse practitioner–led interdisciplinary team. Recommendations for the future are to add graphics and to increase usability of disabled persons to the site.
