Abstract

Along with the fast growth of network information, using search engines to search information has developed into an important part of one's life everyday. In current years, there is a research focus on the search engine optimization technologies used to rapidly publish business information onto the search engines by which higher rankings can be reserved. The present paper analyzes the impact of receiving and recording of search engines and ranking rules to get understanding of the features of search engine algorithms frequently used and proposes the optimization strategy for the development of a website. This system provided good performance in monitoring the skills of SEO of website, and provided the consistent information support for ongoing optimization on search engine and making search engine marketing strategy. With the problems, the paper place ahead design Methods for website optimization, and summed up the optimization strategies for website design.

The World Wide Web has become an essential modern tool for people’s daily routine. The fact that it is a convenient means for communication and information search has made it extremely popular. This fact led companies to start using online advertising by creating corporate websites. With the rapid increase in the number of websites, search engines had to come up with a solution of algorithms and programs to qualify the results of a search and provide the users with relevant content to their search. On the other side, developers, in pursuit of the highest rankings in the search engine result pages (SERPs), began to study and observe how search engines work and which factors contribute to higher rankings. The knowledge that has been extracted constituted the base for the creation of the profession of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This paper consists of two parts. The first part aims to perform a literature review of the factors that affect the ranking of websites in the SERPs and to highlight the top factors that contribute to better ranking. To achieve this goal, a collection and analysis of academic papers was conducted. According to our research, 24 website characteristics came up as factors affecting any website’s ranking, with the most references mentioning quality and quantity of backlinks, social media support, keyword in title tag, website structure, website size, loading time, domain age, and keyword density. The second part consists of our research which was conducted manually using the phrases “hotel Athens”, “email marketing”, and “casual shoes”. For each one of these keywords, the first 15 Google results were examined considering the factors found in the literature review. For the measurement of the significance of each factor, the Spearman correlation was calculated and every factor was compared with the ranking of the results individually. The findings of the research showed us that the top factors that contribute to higher rankings are the existence of website SSL certificate as well as keyword in URL, the quantity of backlinks pointing to a website, the text length, and the domain age, which is not perfectly aligned with what the literature review showed us.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) plays a very vital role in the development of professional websites. There are some search engines available on the internet such as Yahoo, Ask.com, AOL.com, Baidu, and Bing. Among which Google is the most widely used search engine. Each search engine uses different SEO technique and algorithm, which not only forms the foundation of SEO but affects the position of a website in organic search results as well. As Google modify its algorithm about 500 or more times per year, the web design and internet also evolves dynamically because of changes in SEO techniques and algorithms. However, how well Malaysian universities websites are optimized for other search engines is questionable particularly the critical differences between search engine ranking techniques and algorithms. This research paper tends to answer these vital questions by proposing a comparative analysis of Bing and Google on some Malaysian universities website, analyzing their search engine optimization parameters and outcomes of using Microsoft Bing as compared to its primary competitor, Google.

In searching for information, internet users usually use search engines. One of them is Google, the most widely used search engine. To find information in the Google search engine, we must use keywords. With SEO technique the website will be easy to find. A website optimization based on keywords, its implementation using On-page SEO and Off-page SEO mechanisms. On-page SEO is changing web pages according to the target keywords. By paying attention to important elements such as meta title, meta description, heading tags, text format, alt text, content, robot.txt, and sitemap.xml. Off-page SEO is a method that is carried out outside the website, creating relevant backlinks to the targeted website. This method can make the website as an organic promotional medium that brings traffic. Since the growing content on the internet exponentially, search engines have become the starting point for most websites. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a method for increasing the website ranking of the search engine results. Websites need to take SEO criteria into account in order to improve the performance of their search engines results and attract more users. This paper addresses the challenges faced by universities websites in Gaza Strip in terms of search engine results. Ten major universities in Gaza Strip included in our case study. Several SEO elements were used in qualitative and quantitative analysis. The quantitative analysis shows that the Domain Authority is low when compared with other related websites. This affected the ranking of these sites on the search engine. The Islamic University's website is ranked first by Alexa and Google Page Ranking, followed by Al Quds Open University, Al Aqsa University and the Palestinian University. The implementation of cluster-based SME e-commerce systems is a stage after analysis and design. However, although SEO could be operated and implemented, this stage cannot be regarded as perfect in fulfilling the development of information system. It is still too risky for the continuity of cluster-based ecommerce business in the future. It is because the lack of control, maintenance and development managements applied to e-commerce business with such cluster model. This study aims to develop and offer strategies of control, maintenance and development of cluster-based SME e-commerce in order for the operation to sustainably able to run and grow. These include regularly-updated contents of the website, more improved privacy protection and cares for stakeholders, and continued increase of SEO ranking on the top level, for ease of customers’ browsing activities. Meanwhile, the system control methods used include general control, ecommerce application control, access control to e-commerce systems, and administrative control with COSO approach. In terms of maintenance, preventive, corrective and perfective maintenances are performed in a postimplementation model of development by means of prototyping. In this paper, we firstly discuss the step by step process to build a fully functioning full stack app and the technologies used while doing so. Following that, a research on various search engine optimization techniques is done for the deployed site of the app. Upon completion of the project and research, we arrived at the algorithm which showed the best results within a given time frame. It was concluded that Google page rank algorithm works the best in this case and also yielded positive results. With that we improved the ranking of our MERN stack application. We also implemented other common techniques for the search engine optimization of a site and have shown results for the same. The factor which significantly improved the ranking of our site was found to be generating more traffic. As the site traffic increased, the cPR score of our site also went up, which was also visible from the increase in the number of clicks.

Purpose – to study website’s work and content of the travel agency on the example of the "Laspi" travel agency, identify its technical properties and offer methods to increase the web-resource leading position in the Yandex and Google search engines by performing SEO-analysis. Findings.The travel product promotion directly depends on the travel market participants' advertising tools' effectiveness, mainly travel agents. It is determined that one of the new technologies that increase the advertising effectiveness, in particular via the travel agencies’ web resources, is SEO-technology. The authors Identified technical shortcomings of its operation, mainly related to search queries statistics, the subject site visits, the semantic core operation, the site improvement, the site increasing citation, and the number of persistent references in the network. It is proved that updating site development, changing its environment, analyzing user behavior, namely the Og Properties micro markup, updating HTML tags, analytical programs placing, iframe objects selection, and other activities, increase the content uniqueness. As a result, search engines scanned the site, and the search results took first place for the positions essential for the web resource. Originality/Value. The leading positions increasing mechanism application, website operation optimization allow search engines to bring it to the TOP of the most popular travel sites. Theoretical implications. To optimize the web resource operation, a mechanism for improving its leading position is proposed that includes three steps: the general website characteristics of marketing, SEO-analysis, recommendations provision. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of improving a website’s position in the Internet search engine results. Firstly, this paper, by using an engineering meta-model, analyzes a range of different approaches discussed in the literature into a meta-model. This meta-model explains the key differences, and illustrates the relationships between them. Secondly, by clarifying the links between different models, the meta-model proposes to consider the SEO as a process to be designed rather than as a “combination” of techniques. This process has to integrate different models with the aim of improving and optimizing the SEO. Thirdly, two approaches are infered from this meta-model, and have been applied in a real situation. The results show that website ranking can be variable and fluctuating during the SEO process. It has to be an adaptive process which should be assisted by intelligent models and tools integrated in a holistic approach.

A cart-pole system is a highly nonlinear as well as an unstable system, which can be utilized as a benchmark system for the testing and designing purposes of different control efforts and it is the widely used application of control system and robotics. For getting the stability of cart-pole system Linear Quadratic Gaussian optimal control problem is formulated which is based on the design of state observer. According to the principal of separation of the problem, at the beginning the control law is generated just after solving ARE using Schur Decomposition to design a controller, which is totally based on principal of state feedback and the point of time comes when all the states of the system can not be measured at the same time there is a presence of process noise as well as measurement noise, optimal state estimator (i.e. Kalman Filter) is made for cart-pole system. Robust H∞ controller has been designed using plant augmentation with weighting functions for the system to carry out the frequency domain analysis of the given system. The simulation results reveal that the controllers can stabilize the cart-pole system at the same time it eliminates noise presents in the system and makes the system robust. Numerical experimentation has been carried out to compare the different approaches.

In the study we apply multiple regression analysis to finding out the Google search engine ranking factors. We describe the essential criteria of search engine ranking. The result will be helpful for users to let their websites be shown on Google search top. We choose one set of 20 specific keywords related to one kind of product to get the websites ranking of each keyword on the first three pages of Google as our samples. The result shows URL length, backlink anchor text, keyword appearing in h1 tag, low related keywords and external links which show significant difference, as the major factors to affect the website ranking. To prove the model is applicable on other products, we choose another product to do multiple regression analysis again, and the result is the same.

In order to make our own website searched by search engine and rank ahead of others, meanwhile trying to pass marketing information to the users as much as possible, more and more enterprises adopt the method based on search engine optimization (SEO) to implement search engine marketing (SEM). Besides, in order to help enterprises to monitor the SEO performance of website, and constantly enhance overall competitiveness of website on the Internet, we proposed a SEO monitoring strategy based on keywords & links by use of .NET technology framework and showed the monitoring results intuitively to users. Accordingly, we constructed a SEM network platform with the feature of high performance, high reliability, high accuracy, security and convenient. The development trends of SEM and the international situation in the future have been taken into full account when we designed and constructed this monitoring system. This system provided good performance in monitoring the ability of SEO of website, and provided the reliable information support for ongoing optimization on search engine and making search engine marketing strategy.

Along with the rapid growth of network information, using search engines to search information has become an integral part of one's life everyday. In recent years, there is a research focus on the search engine optimization technologies used to quickly publish business information onto the search engines by which higher rankings can be kept. The present paper analyzes the impact of receiving and recording of search engines and ranking rules to get understanding of the features of search engine algorithms commonly used and proposes the optimization tactics for the development of a website.
