In his novel The Songlines, Bruce Chatwin describes the Australian Aboriginals' concept of the Walkabout. Once a person feels it is right, he drops all and vanishes, leaving behind jobs, family, everything. It could be weeks or months or even years of traversing the continent, searching maybe, or just drifting. It could be to meet a certain person, or just to wander, but he returns as if nothing has happened (Chatwin 10).

[Show full abstract] research into the parentheses or asides in the Fourth Gospel, the use of prolepsis and the use of the proleptic pronoun aûtóv, this article will demonstrate that the so-called pronomen abundans in John, i.e. "a personal or demonstrative pronoun which repeats the relative pronoun in a single-limbed relative clause" (W.F.
