With the advances of wireless information technology, many application softwares such as ERP gradually has increased. But those application softwares have some serious problems such that performance degradation and concurrency control resulting from the limited bandwidth and unreliability of wireless communication, In this paper, as a solution to take around those limitations, we propose a middleware framework for wireless communication environments.

The integration of enterprise software (ES) into college of business curricula began in 1996. Since then, a number of universities have achieved various levels of integration of ES into their curriculum. A framework for curriculum integration considers courses taken by all students, the functional business area students (excluding information systems (IS)), and the IS program area students. Using ... The most frequently reported integration undertaking is the inclusion of ES in the introductory IS course, which is required of most business students. The results indicate that the MIS academic area has a lead in the integration of ES into its curriculum. This includes both the largest number of courses and courses with the greatest amount of ES content.

In this paper, researchers critically examined usability using system usability scale (SUS) on most popular enterprise resource planning system SAP, an integrated solution that incorporates the key business operation functions and processes of an organization. The purpose of this research was to investigate the influence of ERP users’ demographic information like educational background and job experiences (as factors affecting users’ cognitive performance) against the task of rating usability of the system. Survey questionnaire were used as a data collection method and regression testing was conducted to obtain the result of impact. Several potential outputs were achieved and further explained.

Passivation of GaInAs pin photodiodes by UVCVD SiNx

UVCVD SiNx thin films have been deposited at low temperature for the passivation of GaInAs pin photodiodes. A structural evaluation of the SiNx has been made by spectroscopic ellipsometry and IR spectroscopy. MIS structures on GaInAs using these films have also been fabricated. More specifically, we study the real-time performance of algebraic coding and traffic regulation under different traffic loads and for different timeliness requirements. Our simulation results indicate that both techniques can be on their own effective measures to improve on-time delivery of messages in overload conditions. An additional gain in performance is obtained when coding is carefully coupled with a traffic regulation based on proactive cleaning of transmission queues.

Guidepost: Scalable MU-MIMO User Selection via Indirect Channel Orthogonality Evaluation

In this paper, we perform a systematic study on MU-MIMO and propose a fully scalable MU-MIMO user selection protocol called Guidepost. In contrast with previous works, Guidepost builds on a novel principle of indirection channel orthogonality evaluation, so as to decouple and simplify the complicated computational/contention interaction among users. Based on the principle, Guidepost first achieves scalable MU-MIMO user selection with only linear computational complexity. Secondly, Guidepost realizes distributed user selection through a two-dimensional prioritized contention mechanism, which can single out the best concurrent users efficiently by utilizing both the time and frequency domain resources. Thirdly, Guidepost incorporates a lightweight AP-assisted contention mechanism to handle cross-cell interference in distributed MU-MIMO (netMIMO) where users are widely distributed and cannot sense each other. Software-radio based implementation and experimentation show that Guidepost significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods under various traffic patterns and node mobility.
