After having carried out a historical review and identifying the state of the art in relation to the interfaces for the exploration of scientific articles, the authors propose a model based in an immersive virtual environment, natural user interfaces and natural language processing, which provides an excellent experience for the user and allows for better use of some of its capabilities, for example, intuition and cognition in 3-dimensional environments. In this work, the Oculus Rift and Leap Motion Hardware devices are used. This work aims to contribute to the proposal of a tool which would facilitate and optimize the arduous task of reviewing literature in scientific databases. The case study is the exploration and information retrieval of scientific articles using ALICIA (Scientific database of Perú). Finally, conclusions and recommendations for future work are laid out and discussed. © 2018, (IJACSA) International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications.

After conducting the historical review of marketing and especially experiential marketing, which considers various types of experiences such as sensations, feelings, thoughts, actions and relationships, seeking in the consumer greater satisfaction and therefore greater effectiveness in the action of marketing, as well as establishing the state of the art of immersive technologies and their applications in marketing, the authors propose a software architecture model for hotel services, which includes the description of hardware and software elements for development and implementation. The model would make it possible to bring customers closer to experiences that are very close to reality, based on their profiles and characteristics, previously treated by a recommendation module included in the proposal, a fact that supports the decision of purchase, with a high degree of adaptation to their needs and requirements. The proposal and development of the model with attributes of originality, aims to contribute to the development and technological innovation of marketing in the hotel industry. Finally, conclusions and recommendations for future work are established.

Immersive analytics (IA) is a new term referring to the use of immersive technologies for data analysis. Yet such applications are not new, and numerous contributions have been made in the last three decades. However, no survey reviewing all these contributions is available. Here we propose a survey of IA from the early nineties until the present day, describing how rendering technologies, data, sensory mapping, and interaction means have been used to build IA systems, as well as how these systems have been evaluated. The conclusions that emerge from our analysis are that: multi-sensory aspects of IA are under-exploited, the 3DUI and VR community knowledge regarding immersive interaction is not sufficiently utilised, the IA community should focus on converging towards best practices, as well as aim for real life IA systems.

Researchers share their results through articles that are published and indexed in scientific databases, which are useful to consult in future research. Generally, the user interface of these databases are traditional, restrict user interaction and limit their field of view. In this paper a new interface model is proposed, based on virtual reality and natural language processing, which together provide a excellent user experience and better use of human capabilities, such as intuition and spatial cognition. In this research they are used the devices Oculus Rif and Leap Motion hardware. The case study is the exploration of scientific articles using Alicia, which is the scientific database of Peru. The motivation for this research is to contribute with better tools to optimize the tasks of literature review and facilitate the work of researchers.

Psychodiagnostic tests are used by hospitals, schools, companies, etc. Their effectiveness has been observed as tests that can reveal the internal and external status of the subject in detail. The data or the results of psychodiagnostic tests are very difficult to interpret by non-professionals. The resulting data is numerous, making it very difficult to read and interpret. The levels of understanding will vary depending on the cognitive ability and experience of the researcher or counselor interpreting the results. This study takes the results from psychodiagnostic tests and displays them as an easily understood 3D graph. The 3D graph is displayed as a spiral shape through 'Processing'. The Uchida-Kraepelin psychodiagnostic test (U-K test) is used on over one million people each year by hospitals, schools, companies, etc. The purpose of this study is to use the 3D spiral to display the U-K test's calculation of workload and to emphasize the use of color on the 3D spiral visualization. A version with colors visible to colorblind people is used in conjunction with the 3D spiral visualization; the usage of color displays the U-K calculation of workload for non-colorblind people, while a colorblind-accessible version is used for colorblind people. The graphs produced in the study were given to professionals, non-professionals and colorblind people for evaluation.
