Os sistemas ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) são componentes essenciais na gestão moderna de organizações em diversos setores. Este artigo examinou profundamente o papel crítico desempenhado por esses sistemas na análise de negócios e como eles contribuem para a eficiência operacional, a tomada de decisões informadas, o planejamento estratégico e muito mais. Uma das características mais marcantes dos sistemas ERP é sua capacidade de integrar processos em uma única plataforma. Eles consolidam informações de todas as áreas funcionais, como finanças, recursos humanos, produção e logística, eliminando redundâncias e criando uma fonte única de dados. Isso resulta em processos mais eficientes, melhor colaboração entre departamentos e redução de custos operacionais. Purpose: This study aims to look at the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of SIMAKU, measure the success of SIMAKU implemented by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro from the perception of users, and see what obstacles are experienced during system implementation. Theoretical Framework: Accounting information system (AIS) consists of three basic elements: the system, information and accounting. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study uses a qualitative research approach based on the concept of "going exploring" which involves the in-depth and case-oriented study of several cases or single cases using descriptive study and case study analysis methods. Furthermore, the sources of this research amounted to 12 respondents divided into two, namely: information users and data inputs. Findings: The results of the study concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant effect on the implementation of the work unit program within the UMM and the implementation of the SIMAKU UMM application as a whole was quite good. Research, Practical & Social implications: The benefit of this research is to evaluate the implementation of the Financial Management Information System (SIMAKU) which has been used at the UMM for more than five years so that this system can continue to be useful for its users on an ongoing basis. In response to increasingly competing environments, organisations are examining how their core business processes (BPs) may be redesigned to improve performance and responsiveness. However, there is a lack of approaches for evaluating BPR at design time and systematically applying BPR in the case of eligible models. The aim of this research is to: (a) evaluate the redesign capacity of BP models prior to implementation, (b) create a systematic and versatile BPR methodology, (c) correlate the evaluation and BPR methodologies to a unified and comprehensive approach and (d) demonstrate the above for a particular BPR method. A literature survey on the theoretical foundation of BPR and two separate Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) on BPR Evaluation and Application methodologies provide an overview of the current state of research and highlight the gap in systematic, generic methodologies that combine the assessment of redesign capacity of models at design time, with the application of BPR. The lack of a concept in literature that quantitatively depicts BPR applicability, led to the introduction of Model Plasticity. The concept is inspired by Neuroplasticity and is based on the calculation of internal model measures for predicting the applicability of RESEQ and PAR heuristics. Through a series of experiments and the use of logistic regression and the state-of-the-art Bender method, the author extracts and validates internal measure thresholds for the aforementioned heuristics. Following, the BPR Assessment framework is introduced for the systematic evaluation of the BPR capacity of input models based on their plasticity and external quality. The framework was created by applying the established DSRP methodology and incorporates essential redesign components that pass through interconnected phases. Two discrete operation modes of the framework based on partitioning clustering and proximity measurement are also proposed and presented in this research by using a BP model repository from literature. The operation modes are demonstrated for data-centric workflow optimization to highlight the straightforward and convenient application of the framework. A set of sixty-four real-life BP scenarios from the Greek Public Financial Management is modelled in the BPMN2.0 standard and measured for the validation of the framework. The validation demonstrates the multitude of benefits for the agencies of the Ministry of Finance and potentially to the whole Greek public sector, given the constant shift to digital transformation schemes. Finally, the author extended the framework with a new complementary artefact, the BPR Application framework, for the systematic application of BPR methods and combined them into a unified and comprehensive methodology. In this way, this research proposes a fully tested and validated methodology for the evaluation of the BPR capacity of models at design time, and a holistic methodology for systematically applying BPR to eligible cases.

Purpose- The significance of business processes has fostered a close collaboration between academia and industry. Moreover, the business landscape has witnessed continuous transformation, closely intertwined with technological advancements. Our main goal is to offer researchers and process analysts insights into the latest developments concerning Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to optimize their processes in an organization and identify research gaps and future directions in the field. Design/methodology/approach- In this study, we perform a systematic review of academic literature to investigate the integration of AI/ML in business process management (BPM). We categorize the literature according to the BPM life-cycle and employ bibliometric and objective-oriented methodology, to analyze related papers. Findings- In business process management and process map, AI/ML has made significant improvements using operational data on process metrics. These developments involve two distinct stages: (1) process enhancement, which emphasizes analyzing process information and adding descriptions to process models, and (2) process improvement, which focuses on redesigning processes based on insights derived from analysis. Research limitations/implications- While this review paper serves to provide an overview of different approaches for addressing process-related challenges, it does not delve deeply into the intricacies of fine-grained technical details of each method. This work focuses on recent papers conducted between 2010 and 2024. Originality/value- This paper adopts a pioneering approach by conducting an extensive examination of the integration of AI/ML techniques across the entire process management lifecycle. Additionally, it presents groundbreaking research and introduces AI/ML-enabled integrated tools, further enhancing the insights for future research.

People with disabilities (PwD) are frequently excluded from certain activities due to the lack of accessible information. In this area, information systems can help PwD by allowing access to a range of information about the accessibility of spaces, facilities, and products. There has been an increase in technologies that promote accessibility, but there are few literature studies which analyse how these technologies were developed to ensure access for all. To address this gap, this study aims to explore the integration of accessibility requirements in the processes of developing information systems. To achieve this aim, a systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA reporting guidelines. To conduct the review, a search was carried out for primary studies in four well-established databases—SCOPUS, Web of Science, IEEE, and ACM. A snowball search to find additional studies was also performed. Based on this, 34 papers were obtained to conduct the study. In general, the studies published on this topic are relatively recent, with healthcare and education being the two major areas where accessibility in information systems is most addressed. The integration of accessibility seems to be primarily applied during the requirement assessment and testing phases, involving potential users in the process. The results obtained within this systematic literature review raise awareness about the integration of accessibility for the success of solutions, which are oriented towards the accessible market. Additionally, the different practical and theoretical contributions can help future practitioners and technology developers establish guidelines that promote the integration of accessibility, thus achieving a more accessible and inclusive society.

The ongoing transformation of health systems around the world aims at personalized, preventive, predictive, participative precision medicine, supported by technology. It considers individual health status, conditions, and genetic and genomic dispositions in personal, social, occupational, environmental and behavioral contexts. In this way, it transforms health and social care from art to science by fully understanding the pathology of diseases and turning health and social care from reactive to proactive. The challenge is the understanding and the formal as well as consistent representation of the world of sciences and practices, i.e., of multidisciplinary and dynamic systems in variable context. This enables mapping between the different disciplines, methodologies, perspectives, intentions, languages, etc., as philosophy or cognitive sciences do. The approach requires the deployment of advanced technologies including autonomous systems and artificial intelligence. This poses important ethical and governance challenges. This paper describes the aforementioned transformation of health and social care ecosystems as well as the related challenges and solutions, resulting in a sophisticated, formal reference architecture. This reference architecture provides a system-theoretical, architecture-centric, ontology-based, policy-driven model and framework for designing and managing intelligent and ethical ecosystems in general and health ecosystems in particular.

RESUMO O presente trabalho apresenta e valida um modelo de mensuração de características dos sistemas de informação inseridos nas organizações. Para desenvolver o modelo partiu-se de uma análise empírica de 394 sistemas de informação presentes em organizações brasileiras que passaram por mudanças provenientes de intervenções realizadas por programas de melhoria. O modelo emergiu de uma análise fatorial exploratória com parte da amostra (159 respondentes), sendo validado por uma análise fatorial confirmatória usando equações estruturais com as respostas remanescentes. Os resultados corroboram estudos anteriores mostrando a presença de quatro variáveis latentes para características dos sistemas de informação, assim definidas: escopo-grau de abrangência em termos de distintos grupos de usuários e número de funções (ou áreas funcionais) auxiliados pelo sistema; acessibilidade-grau de facilidade de acesso ao aplicativo e de distribuição de dados; integração-grau de integração com outros sistemas de informação, internos ou externos à organização; e foco-grau em que a TI direciona seu foco no apoio a processos decisórios. O modelo mostrou-se bastante ajustado aos dados empíricos, apresentando escalas com validade convergente, itens unidimensionais e construtos testados quanto à validade discriminante e à confiabilidade. ABSTRACT This study presents and validates a measurement model for characterizing information systems in organizations. It started with an empirical analysis of 394 information systems of Brazilian organizations that have undergone changes as from the interventions made by improvement programs. The model emerged from an exploratory factor analysis with part of the sample (159 respondents) and was validated by a confirmatory factor analysis using structural equations with the remaining responses. The results corroborated previous studies by showing the presence of four latent variables for the characteristics of information system. They are: (i) scope-the extent of coverage in terms of different user groups and number of functions (or functional areas) aided by the system, (ii) accessibility-the degree of ease of application access and data distribution, (iii) integration-the degree of integration with other information systems, internal or external to the organization, and (iv) focus-the degree to which IT directs its focus on supporting decision-making processes. The model proved to be very fit to the empirical data, showing scales with convergent validity, unidimensionality of items, reliability and discriminant validity of the constructs. A Tecnologia da Informação (TI) passou por profundas mudanças nas últimas décadas, disseminou-se pelas organizações e se consolidou definitivamente como importante instrumento empresarial, tornando obsoletas as primeiras tentativas acadêmicas de tipificação. As tipologias iniciais, ao se fundamentarem principalmente em recursos técnicos, dificultam a identificação e mensuração das características relevantes da TI para estudos que visam a entender seu relacionamento com as organizações (CROWSTON; MALONE, 1994; MULLIGAN, 2002). Tais tipologias focam a capacidade de produção e componentes tangíveis das máquinas associadas à TI. De fato, normalmente os recursos são diferenciados pela capacidade de processamento, armazenamento, recuperação, transmissão e apresentação dos dados. Contestando tal enfoque, Mulligan (2002) sugere que os estudos sobre caracterização da TI sejam realizados percebendo os potenciais desta para a organização do trabalho e passando da observação direta (objetiva) de elementos tangíveis da tecnologia para a percepção dos usuários e desenvolvedores. O autor fundamenta suas ideias com uma pesquisa exploratória em que faz uso do método Delphi junto a especialistas, numa primeira fase, e compara estudos de caso, numa segunda, concluindo que são quatro os atributos principais dos sistemas de informação: escopo, acessibilidade, integração e foco dos sistemas. Posteriormente, percebendo a carência de instrumentos de mensuração que englobem tais variáveis, Dolci et al. Perpustakaan SMK FARMASI CUT MEUTIA Banda Aceh mempunyai permasalahan yaitu pada proses pencarian buku oleh siswa sangat susah dilakukan, dimana jumlah buku yang ada di pepustakaan yang jumlahnya cukup banyak, sehingga banyak siswa yang mengeluh dan banyak terjadi penumpukan buku, berserakan dan berpindahnya buku pada rak yang lain. Permasalahan yang lain adalah pada saat mencari sebuah buku, siswa maupun guru harus lebih dulu ke perpustakan untuk mencari keberadaan buku. Proses ini dirasakan kurang efektif bagi guru maupun siswa yang memerlukan buku dalam waktu yang sangat singkat. Dengan adanya sistem ini agar dapat menjadikan pencarian buku diperpustakaan dilakukan dengan mudah, serta dalam pembuatan laporan. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut SMK FARMASI CUT MEUTIA Banda Aceh mencoba untuk membuat sebuah Sistem Pencarian Buku Berbasis Web.. This study aimed to highlight the reality of using management information systems in managerial decision making in greater Irbid Municipality and to explore its role in the effectiveness of managerial decision making. In order to verify the study hypotheses, t-test was used as well as some of the descriptive statistics tools such as arithmetic averages and standard deviation to measure the dispersion in the opinion of individuals of the sample of the study using the statistical package SPSS. The Extent of information systems success is based on various determinants, including perceptions of organizational politics. This paper aims to determine the impact of perceptions of organizational politics on information systems success in banks. A comprehensive model was developed, and data were collected from information systems users in banks. This study used correlation matrix, descriptive analysis and regression analysis to analyze data, and test the suggested hypotheses. The results revealed that banks information systems users have a lower "general political behavior". In addition to moderate responses to "getting along to get ahead", and "pay and promotion" political perspectives. Furthermore, getting along to get ahead and pay and promotion political perspectives are positively impacting system quality, information quality, and service quality of the information systems dimensions. These findings indicated that the more existence of group loyalties, and more employee fit for the bank will lead to more success of information systems. Furthermore, a lot of work is required to enhance information systems success, mainly; IS users' feelings towards all information systems success dimensions by encouraging employees' good ideas, teamwork, honesty, and make their minds for the benefit of information system.

In the digital era, information technology plays a vital role in transforming organizational correspondence systems. Implementation of this technology increases efficiency, reduces operational costs, and strengthens information security. Electronic mailing systems replace traditional paper-based methods with digital solutions such as email, document management, and collaboration platforms, which speed up and structure communication. Information technology also supports data integration, document tracking, and better accessibility, thereby increasing organizational productivity and responsiveness. However, the adoption of this technology faces challenges such as the need for adequate technological infrastructure, employee training, and management of organizational culture change. This research discusses the benefits and challenges faced in adopting information technology for correspondence transformation, as well as strategies for optimizing the digitalization process.

The challenge of evolving meaningful classroom instruction in the tertiary level is faced with lots of constraints. A few of these are the inadequacy of textbooks and instructional materials and ineptness in the part of the teachers on the teaching methodologies/ approaches to use that impact knowledge and skills to the students; and importantly, appropriating technology and instituting initiatives to impact quality education. The concerns, so far, have not been fully addressed, hence, the researcher in his desire to enhance technology instruction has designed and developed a Proposed Online Interactive Work Plan Model, a syllabus-based and experienced and empirical-based Model instruction. It is in this context that this study is conducted since he believes, his proposed instructional tool will serve as a useful material for both teachers of science-technology and students of information communication technology subjects using online interactive approach. This study is descriptive in nature where 6 schools administrators and expert in the persons of school principals and science supervisor, and science coordinators; and 14 teachers of science; and 172 students, representing the three (3) material high school of Sablayan North of the Schools Division of Occidental Mindoro as respondents of the study.

نظرا للأهمية الكبرى لموضوع نظم المعلومات الإدارية قد تم تسليط الضوء على هذا الموضوع وربطه بسهولة العمل الاداري ، في إحدى أهم مؤسسات الدولة الليبية (ديوان المحاسبة) – فرع درنة – باعتباره أداة للرقابة على عمل مؤسسات الدولة الحيوية. ونظرا لصغر حجم عينة الدراسة تم إتباع طريقة المسح الشامل لكافة الأفراد العاملين بديوان المحاسبة الليبي فرع درنة حيث تم تصميم وتوزيع استمارة استبيان ضمت عدة مقاييس لقياس العلاقة بين نظام المعلومات الاداري المتبع داخل ديوان المحاسبة وبين سهولة العمل الاداري ؛ ثم تما تجميع هذه الاستمارات وفرز وتحليل البيانات الواردة بها تحليلا إحصائيا باستخدام برنامج الإحصاء(spss) للوصول الى صحة فرضيات الدراسة من عدمها . وتم التوصل الى عدة نتائج أهمها أهمية نظم المعلومات الإدارية في تسهيل العمل الاداري وثبات صحة الفرضيات داخل المؤسسة .إلا أن هذا النظام يُعاني من بعض العراقيل مثل غياب عنصر التخصص في نظام المعلومات و عدم توفير السرية الكافية في تداول المعلومات بالإضافة الى بطىء شبكة الاتصال المستخدمة لنظام المعلومات. وتم وضع التوصيات اللازمة لزيادة فعالية نظام المعلومات الاداري داخل المؤسسة.

This article aims to design an Information System for Logistics and Distribution Management, albeit an incomplete one. It seeks to define the key performance indicators (financial, time, productivity and quality of services) as an innovative approach to information management, stemming from the understanding of the physical, financial and information flows related to the Logistics and Distribution activities in which the organizations operate, whether they are carried out in the for-profit or nonprofit sector. In this sense, some conceptual clarifications become necessary and are presented in this chapter. The term information unit / business unit, although widespread in management literature, is not defined by consensus. Guinchat and Menou (1994, p.337) use the term to refer to sectors of businesses whose mission is “to identify, as accurately as possible, information that may be useful to decision-makers (top, coordination and operational) in support decision-making.” Logistics and Distribution cannot manage without information on applications / products by and for customers, and their relationship with information management, in Information Science. Resumo Contexto do Estudo: A Polícia Militar do Pará enquanto instituição de segurança pública promove o policiamento ostensivo preventivo com uso de tecnologias diversas, dentre estas o registro de suas atividades mediante sistema de informações corporativa. Objetivo: Este trabalho tem por finalidade apresentar a utilização do software aplicativo BAPM Digital enquanto interface de registro de atendimentos policiais militares no SIGPOL, demonstrando a efetividade no Estado do Pará no período de 2015 a 2020. Métodos: A partir de uma pesquisa aplicada, mista e exploratória, com coleta de dados bibliográficos em livros, artigos científicos e legislações para obtenção de informações quanto ao tema proposto, posteriormente foi realizada uma pesquisa em fontes estatísticas sobre a criminalidade e atendimentos policiais militares pela Polícia Militar do Pará em todo o Estado, para realização de análise mediante estatística descritiva quanto a efetividade decorrente da adoção desta tecnologia da informação. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem informasi manajemen terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di Desa Timoreng Panua Kecamatan Panca Rijang Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang dan faktor yang memengaruhi sistem informasi manajemen terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di Kantor Desa Timoreng Panua Kecamatan Panca RijangKabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 57 orang. Perhitungan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh yaitu, mengambil semua populasi sebagai sampel yakni sebanyak 57 orang. Tipe penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, kuisioner, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan.Hasil penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi manajemen terhadap kualitas pelayanan publik di kantor Desa Timoreng Panua Kecamatan Panca Rijang Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan melihat dari hasil olahan data pada tabel ANOVA, ternyata nilai t hitung≥ t tableatau 4,83 ≥ 2,00 dan tingkat signifikansinya 0,00 (F < 0,05), maka Ho ditolakdan Ha diterima, artinya sistem informasi manajemen (X) berpengaruhsignifikanterhadap kualitas pelayanan publik (Y).Adapun faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi sistem informasi manajemen dilihat dari faktor yang pertama kualitas sistem memiliki pengaruh sebesar 14,1%. Faktor yang kedua kualitas informasi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 34,8%. Faktor yang ketiga penggunaan (use) memiliki pengaruh sebesar 12,1% dan faktor yang keempat kepuasan pemakai memiliki pengaruh sebesar 21,1%.

The objective of this research is to clarify the concept of information technologies and the advantages they offer in the modern business environment, focusing on the accounting role therein and thus clarifying the concept of the quality of financial reports and highlighting developments in the qualitative characteristics of accounting information that can contribute to the quality of financial reports. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the extractive approach was based on the presentation of the theoretical aspect, and the research variables were: The independent variable (information technologies) and the dependent variable (financial reports) and the intermediate variable are (qualitative characteristics of accounting information). The research reached the most important conclusion that information technologies had a direct impact on contributing to the quality of financial reports.

Problem of ageing is appearing as a major issue in modern age because the improvement of medical science has raised the life expectancy of the people. As a result, the number of old age people is increasing all over the world. According to UNESCO estimate the number of old people aged above 60+ in the world is likely to go up from 350 million in 1975 to 590 million in 2005. About half of them are in the developing countries. In the advanced countries like Norway, Sweden and Japan the population of the aged above 60 is 20 per cent. However, the percentage of the aged in other advanced countries in the West is in the neighbourhood of 14 Per cent. So far as India is concerned as a result of the change in the age composition of the population over time, there has been a progressive increase in both the number and proportion of aged people. The proportion of the population aged 60 years or more has been increasing consistently over the last century, particularly after 1951. In 1901 the proportion of the population aged 60 or over of India was about 5 percent, which marginally increased to 5.4 percent in 1951, and by 2001 this share was found to have risen to about 7.4 percent. About 75% of persons of age 60 and above reside in rural areas. The Status of the aged not only differ between younger and olds but also from country to county on the socio-cultural background. Venkoba Rao (1979) has indicated that as to how the prevalent cultural conditions are affecting or contributing to the problems of the aged. Ghosal (1962) has observed that the problems of old age tend to be multiple rather than single. Due to the multiple natures being observed in the old age causes different problems. Zasób wiedzy podmiotów funkcjonujących na rynku jest niedoskonały i zróżnicowany. W książce przedstawiono możliwości działań niwelujących asymetrię wiedzy dotyczącej żywności, zarówno po stronie producenta, jak i konsumenta. Część empiryczna poświęcona została aktywności informacyjnej klienta, czyli poszukiwaniu i analizie informacji o produkcie na poszczególnych etapach procesu decyzyjnego oraz przekazywaniu takich informacji innym konsumentom. Celem pracy jest ustalenie zależności między poziomem wiedzy konsumentów a ich aktywnością informacyjną oraz związków tej zależności z asymetrią wiedzy między konsumentami a producentami żywności. Badania prowadzono od grudnia 2014 do kwietnia 2015 r. w Wielkopolsce. Zastosowano podejście interdyscyplinarne, ponieważ podjęta tematyka wywodzi się z zagadnień mikroekonomicznych (z ekonomiki informacji), w mniejszym stopniu analizowane kwestie odnoszą się do teorii ryzyka i niepewności, czerpią również z innych obszarów nauki: zarządzania czy ekonomii behawioralnej.

User participation in information system development is considered the key to system success in organization. The empirical evidence, however, does not support this. To explain such equivocal result, the effect of three contingency factors – top management support, task complexity, and locus of control – as moderating variables on the relationship between user participation and system success were investigated on BUMN in Indonesia. Using Moderated Regression Analysis, results of this research indicate that user participation has positive direct relationship with system success. In using the effect of three contingency factors, results indicate that these factors were found to play key role on the relationship. Top management support, task complexity, and locus of control were proved to be quasi moderator. These findings suggest that several contingency factors can ensure high level of system success. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi implementasi aplikasi Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations pada System Supply Chain yang berjalan di PT ABC. Evaluasi akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Fit and Gap Analysis, mengidentifikasi kecocokan dan kesenjangan pada proses bisnis dan sistem. Selanjutnya dari hasil penggunaan metode evaluasi, observasi dan wawancara akan dituangkan dalam bentuk rekomendasi sebagai solusi untuk memperbaiki kekurangan dalam sistem yang ada pada perusahaan saat ini. Yayasan ini berkantor di kota Semarang dan mempunyai kantor cabang di setiap kota-kota besar di Pulau Jawa. Untuk mengelolah sumber daya yang ada pada Yayasan Binterbusih dibutuhkan teknologi informasi untuk memberikan informasi yang berkualitas, akuntabel, efektif dan efisien. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengolahan data-data mahasiswa dan pelajar penerima beasiswa di Yayasan Binterbusih sebelum ini masih bersifat sederhana yaitu masih menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft office dan Excel, dimana aplikasi tersebut memiliki kelemahan diantaranya kurang cepat, sulit untuk melakukan perubahan terhadap data-data mahasiswa dan pelajar yang kompleks apabila terjadi kesalahan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mencoba mewujudkan Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Informasi Mahasiswa Pelajar Papua di Yayasan Binterbusih Semarang dengan baik. The current research tests the effect of digital modernity and its components (hardware, software, communication networks, individuals) in improving the performance of workers. The research problem was represented in several questions that were answered to know the extent of the hotel management’s interest in supporting and applying digital modernity, and then determining the effect between its variables. (48) of (managers, heads of departments, heads of divisions) in the premium hotels of the city of Baghdad, and data and information were collected using a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed using the statistical program (SPSS). The research reached several results, including: that there is a statistically significant effect between the research variables (digital modernity, improving the performance of workers), and these results are identical to the research hypotheses. The research presented a number of recommendations, perhaps the most prominent of them: the most important of which was the necessity of applying digital modernity by the surveyed hotels because of its importance in solving many problems, including the negatives of paper handling.

Depuis juillet 2015, le Liban a connu une crise de gestion des déchets avec des conséquences désastreuses aux niveaux de la santé et de l'environnement. Plusieurs initiatives ont pris lieu depuis afin de réduire l'impact de cette crise. L’objectif est de comprendre comment ces nouvelles pratiques émergentes amènent ainsi plusieurs acteurs de la crise à interagir et à s’organiser entre eux à travers le déchet actant non-humain, afin de former une organisation de tri et de recyclage. Les interactions entre les actants humains et non-humains peuvent être considérées sous l’angle d’un réseau de tri et de recyclage formant ainsi une organisation apprenante. Pour cela, nous avons mobilisé l’approche de l’acteur réseau qui privilégie les interactions entre acteurs sociaux et la co-construction entre individus et structure du réseau.La particularité de cette thèse relève d’une relecture de la situation au Liban, l’émergence de réseaux sociaux de gestion de déchets, ainsi que l’implication de plusieurs acteurs qui, en interagissant sur ces réseaux, forment des organisations de gestion et de valorisation des déchets ménagers. Ceci nous amène à voir si les représentations des individus vis-à-vis des déchets ont changé et si le fait d’être impliqué dans leur gestion en interagissant dans des réseaux de tri et de recyclage débouche en un apprentissage organisationnel. Ce travail de recherche essaie de relier deux phénomènes, à savoir l’apprentissage organisationnel et le développement durable en matière de déchets.Cette recherche vise donc à comprendre, au travers du « modèle de l’intéressement », la mobilisation d’actants humains à partir des actants non-humains que sont les déchets au regard de leur collecte, de leur tri et de leur recyclage. Partant d’un problème qui touche la majorité des individus, des actants hétérogènes acceptent de coopérer et de discuter autour du projet commun qui est ici la collecte, le tri et le recyclage des déchets. Elle conduit à observer les intentions, les discours, les actions et les interactions. C’est une recherche-action et une observation participante menées dans le champ du développement durable et fondée sur une approche inductive en observant en quoi le déchet est générateur d’une organisation apprenante compte-tenu d’enjeux sociaux, politiques et économiques. Nowadays it is the information and knowledge that unite us and many people currently gain their whole way of life by acquiring information in one way or another. This dependence on information will increase in the coming years. Today and above all tomorrow the basic understanding of information will be as important as a few years ago was expertise in the fields in the age of agriculture or basic knowledge industries in industrial society. In fact, understanding the importance of information, as a strategic resource in the management of organizations, will become more important for strategists than were models for formulating the strategy of industrial society. In the 21st century no manager will be able to successfully define and implement the strategy without a basic understanding of strategic information. Some managers mainly privilege quantitative information (past or forecast) over qualitative information, since it is easier to obtain, can be compared and give them greater comfort in decision making, while qualitative information is very subjective and depends mainly on the interpretation of strategists about future development prospects. Managing resource information today represents an increasingly pressing need in any business. The organizations of the 21st century compete in a turbulent and complex environment full of interrelations that remain in a constant state of change, and in this context, information represents an increasingly valuable resource, necessary for managers to understand, interpret and respond to changes in the environment to reach or maintain a favorable position in the market.
