without interruption; M4F4 present in 9 of 10 years, M4 in 1
year with a different partner

6 pairs with > 2 years Brook presence always together, 6 pairs
with 7 new partners (27,3%), M6 had 4 different F, 8 Junge

Only 2 pairs always in same territory, many territory changes
⇒ much stronger dynamics than assumed before
⇒ more than 1/4 of the cranes enters into a 2nd „marriage“
⇒ good territories more stable than poorer ones
