Abstract

Mitchell Robinson received his Ph.D. in history form Cornell University in 1990. He wrote his dissertation, "Civilian Public Service during World War II: The Dilemmas of Conscience and Conscription in a Free Society," under the supervision of Richard Polenberg. He is employed by the U.S. Navy as a contract negotiator at the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Detachment in Philadelphia, PA. 1. Albert M. Keim and Grant M.
