A Taxonomic Study of the Mealybug Genus Stemmatomerinx (Homoptera: Coccoidea: Pseudococcidae)

Abstract and Figures

Five species of Stemmatomerinx Ferris are treated in this study including 4 new species: acirula, adenticulata, aristida, and beshcarac. Descriptions and illustrations are provided for adult females of all species, for the 2nd and 3rd instar female of adenticulata, and for the 2nd instar male and female and the 3rd instar female of beshearae. A key to the species is given.
