The effects of temperature on the geochemistry of West Azarbaijan Syenite
The present paper describes a color changing the west azarbaijan syenite (Irans North western region) that has affected by temperature and discusses possible mechanism for the occurrence of this color changing. We set out to examine the e�ect of temperature on the chemical reactions which had been occurred in he the syenite sample and we shown temperature have played a role in the color changing event. Data are presented for these samples in contact with nitrogen and oxygen threshold and in one case for temperature variation in the range of room temperature to 500C. The effect of temperature on the chemical reaction in the sample and color variation was large and owing to color changing from dark green to dark brown. Preliminary experimental results has been discussed. The mechanism of the variation of color for the syanite with increasing temperature has been explained.
