La emergencia del altruismo real a través de las emociones
Abstract (The Emergence of Real Altruism Through Emotions): In this essay I attempt to show how selfish individuals are capable of truly altruistic behavior, taking into account both the cooperative interactions and the evolution of emotive mechanisms. Against the common conception, even among philosophers, I fence arguments that point out the existence of conceptual abilities previous to emotive ones, as necessary for any kind of recognition of individuals (condition of existence of multiple cooperative interactions), as well as a condition for the others. I try to prove that all individuals who follow natural selection must possess some type of conceptual ability which guides their behavior. Also, I prove the fact that this ability is not fundamentally different from the ability to act following mere patterns.
