Windsor Conference 2018

Goal: A conference will be held on the subjects of building energy use and the thermal comfort of building occupants in April 2018. Papers are expected on a wide range of subjects and academic disciplines which relate to these subjects including building simulation and the physics of buildings, human physiology and psychology and behaviour. The definitions of occupant comfort and discomfort, the adaptive response of occupants to the internal environment and how this influences building energy use and resilience.

The conference took place in Windsor and was attended by in excess of 100 delegates.

Some 90 papers were presented and the provisional proceedings are available on the conference website windsorconference.com together with details of the conference sessions and workshops and the short biographies of the speakers.

The final proceedings will be available by the end of April

Windsor conference abstracts open

The Windsor 2018 submission page for abstracts is now open at the conference website (windsorconference.com). We are expecting a heavy take up of limited places at the conference and as a result we are asking that research papers are at PhD level or from research teams. They should be based on good-quality actual research results from completed or near-completed projects NOT on research proposals which have still to be finished.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts and to welcoming you to W2018 between 12th – 15th April 2018 at the Cumberland Lodge conference centre in Windsor Great Park, UK.
