Project

Songbird Population Monitoring on the Boise River

Goal: Since 2015 we have monitored songbird populations through standardized banding protocols during the breeding season and fall migration season at our Boise River Research Station, located in the greater Barber Pool Ecosystem. Our goal is to monitor populations of riparian obligate breeding birds and long-distance neotropical migrants, as these groups are facing numerous conservation threats.
