Soft Potato: an open source electrochemistry simulator

Goal: Soft Potato is an open source simulator of electrochemical processes. It can simulate cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry of E mechanisms assuming planar diffusion and Butler Volmer kinetics. For mor info visit https://oliverrdz.xyz/soft-potato.

I have been playing with EC mechanisms with finite differences and Runge-Kutta 4, see Figure attached. I have written python scripts for these, they are in the following GitHub repository:
This repository also has other scripts that may be interesting to explore. I use it to store them before being implemented in Soft Potato.

Now we have a scripting version of Soft Potato! It can be installed via pip. I created a new gitHub repository where I will be adding Jupyter Notebook files as examples on how to use it. The idea is that Soft Potato should also be a general toolkit for electrochemists and it could be use to calculate typical equations (Cottrell, Randles-Sevcik, etc). I included the theoretical equation for the steady state current at an ultramicrodisc electrode. Visit https://oliverrdz.xyz/soft-potato (a completely new redesign of my web page, by the way, see screenshot here).

An update on #SoftPotato v2, the open source electrochemistry simulator that I have been working on for the past year. Chronoamperometry and cyclic voltammetry added, next: E mechanism with Butler-Volmer kinetics. For #SoftPotato v1 please visit https://oliverrdz.xyz/soft-potato

Here is a screenshot of the next version of Soft Potato. The two major changes with respect to v1.0 are using the GTK library instead of Qt and the complete rearrangement of the widgets. I believe the interface is cleaner now.
