Goal: RIVER BASINS is a biannual conference which provides a platform for the exchange of recent progresses and research in the field of river basin management. This includes the quantification of water and mass fluxes, the investigation of processes in river systems and ecological research as well as the implementation of promising management strategies.

This edition of the River Basins conference will be hosted by Budapest University of Technology and Economics in a beautiful venue with view on the Danube.
When? 25-26 June 2020 The theme will be "Solids in River Basins - Soil and particle bound pollutants". As members of the Conference Committee we cordially invite you to submit abstracts to riverbasins@iwg.kit.edu and to join us at this exciting event!

Dear colleagues,
        we are pleased to share with you the preliminary programme for the River Basins 2017 conference (file attached).
When: 19th and 20th June 2017
Where: TU Wien, Vienna
Theme: Transboundary Management of Pollutants, with focus on Monitoring strategies, Modelling and Management
The very positive response to the Call for Abstracts has allowed us to put together an exceptional programme, which offers a multidisciplinary and international insight on the topic of transboundary management of pollutants.
We would like to remind you that the deadline for early bird registrations will end on March 31st ( https://www.redseat.de/riverbasins2017/ ).
Please bear in mind that owing to space restrictions we cannot accept more than 100 participants. Therefore, if you are interested in the conference, we recommend not to delay the registration.
