Novel Organic Recovery Using Mobile Advanced Technology

Goal: To develop an innovative, small-scale technology solution designed to recover fibre and specific nutrients from digestate to produce high performance biofertiliser products. It also addresses key digestate issues including environmental and health risks through antibiotic removal as well as improving its format for ease of application. Currently, turning digestate into biofertiliser products is not feasible for most small AD plants due to lack of available, cost-effective equipment, and the expense of achieving end of waste standard PAS110.
