Goal: Mobile Cities explores all means by which people move through urban spaces with a focus on using nonmotorized transportation for commuting and for fun. In my work here I focus on bicycling, walking, and rolling and how urban design at the neighborhood and city scales interfaces with these modes.
Bicycle Urbanism is now in final production and will be available through Routledge in February 2018! In the meantime, please have a look at the first two pages of my introduction "Advancing Bicycle Urbanism" available on Researchgate.com.
Thanks Rachel, We are all looking forward. I am certain that the time to comment on the cover art is long past. But why isn't the cover photo depicting Urban bicycling? It is of a multi-use path instead. I assumed it would be an urban setting, with bike commuters.
