Higher education in Vietnam
Globalization has reconfigured the higher education (HE) sector worldwide, leading higher education institutions (HEIs) to encounter changing educational demands. HE plays an important role in training the future workforce, which constitutes the human capital for national economic development. At the same time, today’s university graduates need to be able, ethical and responsible global citizens. In other words, HE should cater for individual, local, national and global needs.
