HEALTH PROMOTING LIFESTYLE / BEHAVIOUR OF THE NIGERIAN POPULACE IN COVID-19 ERA

Goal: In March 2020, following the outbreak of the novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the disease (COVID-19) as a pandemic.The WHO and Centre for Disease Control (CDC) in Nigeria (NCDC) have been the ones championing and coordinating the activities of other stakeholders in managing and preventing the spread of the diseases. There have also been all manners of means Nigerians have used to prevent and manage the disease since the outbreak of the infection. The casualty in Nigeria is relatively low compared to other Nations of the World that have a well defined and standard health care services.

This research therefore wish to assess the knowledge, attitudes and health-promoting behaviour of Nigerians during the era of COVID-19 pandemic.
